He is the front runner by 2x + , he will be the Republican nominee. Now the RNC cannot run against him nor can they call for an exemption and support another candidate at the GOP convention. View Quote First, even if you believe the polls, it's far too early to proclaim that anyone will win the nomination. The political ads haven't really begun and although everyone claims they hate ads the truth is they work (especially the negative ones). Second, I hope you don't really believe that Mr. Trump's promise not to run as an independent could prevent the people who run the party from engaging in actions to deny him (or any other candidate) the nomination. I assure you that is not the case. If, despite the best efforts of the people who run the party, Mr. Trump gets enough delegates committed to him to win the nomination on the first ballot, he will get the nomination. If no candidate gets sufficient delegates to do so, the nomination is up for grabs. The party establishment will act as they think is best - for them. Last, you may be assured that if the person who gets the nomination is not the person of their choosing, the people who run the party will give lip service to supporting the nominee and very little else. See for example the election of 1964. |

Well, he is selling himself. But that's not why I like him. I like what he's saying because he's the only person who is saying actually conservative things and talking about issues conservative voters have been chomping at the bit to hear a candidate talk about, while the rest of the GOP-e has been trying to play the same old social issues (to not have to talk about illegals, money, or other issues). The reason people like him isn't because he's trump. It's because they want to deal with the issues he's bringing up and nobody in the GOP-e wants to talk about those issues for some reason. Trump has changed the paradigm and is forcing the GOP-e to either fuck themselves or change. So far, they've chosen to fuck themselves. The only reason I can think of that they would do that, is that they are unwilling to give up their ties created in back room deals that ultimately fuck over the American people and benefit the politicians. That's the value of Trump. Who cares if he's always selling if he's getting people to wake up to the fact that the GOP-e are a bunch of worthless self-interested twits. |

So let's see we've already had a Trump = Hitler post (I can't remember from who though) and now we have a Trump = KKK post from you. Oh but you didn't mean it like that, of course not! It must be terrible for you to think that you'll now have to go through the rest of your life apologizing to everyone because at one point in history, Trump ran as a republican. Let me know when you and Obama will be making your next world tour of apologies so I can make sure you've got everyone covered. View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes Quoted:

The same reason I got concerned when David Duke decided to run for office, his character was used to brand the party as a whole. I'd prefer not to be called on to apologize for Donald's mouth while we are trying to elect conservatives down ticket. Calling any woman a bimbo or pig is not going to help fight the BS belief that the GOP is anti-women. I hate PC too, but there is a degree of decorum I expect from the leader of the free world. LOL so in your eyes Trump is the same as David Duke? Of course not, it's the planting of a seed subliminally by creating a false comparison between Donald Trump and a leader of the Ku Klux Klan. Relentlessly CHIP, Chip, Chipping away at Donald Trump's charactor by every and any means. I don't have to do anything to chip away at his character, he does it to himself just fine. You're wasting your time because when called on to, there are some people who habitually refuse to admit to ownership of their own words; even after you've quoted them. Some folks just like to toss word bombs and then run and hide from the repercussions, and God forbid that someone tosses their very own bomb back at them. Then they're the sobbing victims sitting up there on the high horse.. |
