Who do I start?
Big Ben or Bradford I want to start Ben since I have Antonio Brown, and would love the double dip. I'm still on the fence, but I'm leaning Bradford. He seems to have the higher ceiling this week against a terrible Falcon's secondary. |

I bet he'll miss a few games and be a GTD for many more. Week one is always difficult to project, so you might consider keeping it as-is and see how he performs. If he faceplants, then you have Wallace to lean on. Save your waiver priority for after week one, or even two. By then we'll know a lot more about the roles guys are going to have and who might be a hot pickup. I like Smith over Marshall this week. Marshall is going to draw Haden in coverage. Don't trust Marshall to win that matchup. |

A buddy in my league is getting destroyed right now. Brady Gronk double dipping is getting him killed.

Since the Steelers give up a bunch of points to TE's, I'm going to go out on a limb and say it wont work all season long.

Quoted: Ok so Panthers or Bengals would be a good way to start this ? View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes Quoted: Quoted: Quoted: A theory I had what do you guys think of dropping and picking up a new defense every week based on who they are playing against ? Like I was thinking of dropping my cardinals and picking up the Bengals or the Panthers while they play less formidble teams ? I do this all the time. Sometimes there's nothing better than what you've got, sometimes you hit a hot DST in week 2 or 3 and ride them all season long, sometimes you just pick up whoever is facing the Jags/Bucs/Titans/Texans/insert crappy team here. I've won championships with streaming defenses. I do the same with kickers, or at least I don't worry about carrying a second kicker and swapping one for another for a bye week or whatever. Ok so Panthers or Bengals would be a good way to start this ? Yup... I did that for most of last year. Whoever was playing Jax or Jets...I picked up. Can work out well overall... |

Dion Lewis is looking pretty good. Wondering if he might be a good claim

I'd pass on Lewis. The pats had like 6 guys with 100 yd rushing games.

Have Gronk in one league tonight.
Playing agaist Gronk in on league tonight. |

If you're not picking up defense week to week youre not playing. If your league just sits on a dst let them.
Own one dst and only for that week. Come playoff time pick for the playoff schedule. Thank me later. An active owner is a winning owner. Right now I have no DST starting or on my roster. Want to win? Stream dst every week. |

I drafted Eli cause for one I need a backup and two I had Matt Ryan last year and he basically shit the bed though I did win the SB. Tyrod was best available. There was literally nobody worth taking in the rounds I took him. At least he was a starter. Second kicker was auto draft last round as I had to go home. RB's I know I'm rolling the dice. Picking 11th in a 12 man draft with 17 rounds you tend to run out of viable options. |

Then tell him to pound sand. Ivory for luck is highway robbery and to the point of offensive. In my league I wouldn't even allow the trade.
He'll McCoy for luck is robbery. He went in the first round mostly, so that's his value. You should get a top tier rb/WR. |

Hill, Forsett, Murray, McCoy would be more inline. Just because someone reached for a QB in round 1, doesn't meant they get a Top 5 round 1 RB/WR in return. I have Big Ben and Bradford, no way I'd trade Antonio Brown (my first rd pick) for Luck. I don't feel like the upgrade at QB makes up for the drop at WR. Maybe in a multiplayer package trade, but not straight up. This is even more true in 4pt/PaTd or PPR leagues. |
|
Well that's why you don't draft QBs in the first 5 rounds! I'm rolling with bridge water the rest of the season and I'm fine with that. The extra 30 points I'll get at other positions will crush. Some folks really want that top qb though for reasons I will never understand.

Here's his pitch
" I just feel like Ivory has a lot of value this year and most rankings seem to agree. . A steal in round 6, he's ranked as the 15th best back going into this week by Rotoworld and has no competition in that backfield. Based on your roster I really feel Ivory for Luck is really fair. You don't lose much at QB and end up with two top 15 backs on your roster. While I do like Luck the best I don't think his numbers will be as good as last year now that they have a real running back with Gore" |

The Colts will probably pass a ton to Gore. Luck is a top 2 QB and Ivory is shit. The Jets offense is fucking terrible and Ivory has to share a backfield with Powell and Ridley. You may be strong at QB but it doesn't mean you should trade a round 1/2 draft pick for a round 6 pick. |

After a few weeks he might be singing a different tune. That's the challenging thing about drafting with the intention to trade. If other people are ok with a middle of the field qb, you are going to get lowballed all season. |
