Perhaps I missed it, but is this rifle still issued?

As with most thing Swiss, a well-made piece. And very ugly.

Ugly as a beaten asshole, but very cool mechanically.

Slow day at work.  Video didn't mention another feature which is the loaded chamber indicator.  AMT= American Match Target  and is in 7.62x51.  Guns are expensive and mags are very expensive, like $200 plus expensive.  PE 57 is a very expensive gun and is in 7.5 Swiss.  Ironically mags are cheap, like $20 the last time I bought some a few years ago.

I like it but won't cough up the $7.5K asked for it by someone I know.

My buddy has one of those - or at least, most of one. It's a complete parts kit I believe, lacking only a reciever.

As a youth I handled one of these new as a recent import at the pachmyr gun shop in down town LA, it was very heavy and somewhat complex. A few years later I shot one that a collector friend had, my impression was the same and I bought a Belgian fal instead of that rifle. I was happy with that, but the Swiss rifle would have been a better investment given its resale value.

Doesn't surprise me that it's accurate either. The Swiss suffer no inaccurate weaponry.
