There is a Shriners Hospital commercial called "Imagine" and has the kids playing basketball, climbing steps and writing their name with a pen in their toes. Halfway through the commercial is a 5 second spot of a nurse who is double yummy. I looked the video up earlier today - am I sick as well? Maybe I should send a check?

The stupid TV commercials don't phase me at all. However, I listened to MMA fighter Justin Wren on Joe Rogan's podcast today and damn near lost it at work. Trying not to cry in a room of a dozen coworkers was a bit weird.
Listening to him on The Fighter and the Kid too didn't help.
I bought his book and will be donating some money to help the dude next paycheck. Forget celebrities going on TV and talking all sad. This dude has been living in Africa surviving on rice, beans, and dried fish while working through malaria and other parasites to buy land for these people and build them wells so that their wives don't have to hike an hour just to get dirty water while the men work as slaves for 2 bananas a day. His wife even went with him to the place known as rape capital of the world despite never having gone camping in her life. I can't even imagine myself coming close to being as good of a human being as them. |
