IMHO both Mariota and Winston are going to be underwhelming. Maybe not total busts, but not worth where they were picked. It was a bad year for QBs.

I'm curious if anybody in the NCAA is paying attention to the NFL crash-n-burn rate of their Heisman-winning QBs lately.
Tebow, RG3, Manzel, and now likely Winston. That's a pretty solid record of failure recently. |

This requires a QB who is a very good athlete but not necessarily a very good traditional QB. This is going all the way back into the high schools at this point. It's becoming harder and harder to find traditional QBs from big, successful schools. I think it's ultimately going to lead to NFL teams running some mutated form of the spread offense. |
