So girlfriend, I and one of her friends took a quick weekend trip down to the beach. Winding down after a long day, taking a shower. Were staying in a one story house owned by one of their friends. Girlfriend and I were taking a shower and someone came and banged on the window in the shower. Frosted glass so we couldn't see in, they couldn't see in. Got out of shower, cleared the exterior with my iPhone flashlight and 442 in my pocket. I didn't see anything. Girlfriend and friend had already called the cops so waited maybe 3 minutes before he arrived. Great response time really. He did the same, couldn't find anything either. He saw two big dogs that are in the house and asked me if I had a gun inside. Told him yes and he just said "Good". Patrolling the neighborhood now looking for feral youts. CSB right? Cool story bro, but you lack pics...

One night in a hotel in Ft Lauderdale someone started banging on our door in the middle of the night. My Dad pulled back the curtain and stuck the muzzle of a P229 up to the glass. Urban ute realized quickly that he "had the wrong room".
Interestingly, he left the hotel instead of finding the "right room". |

PF9's suck. Well I guess they work ok in Florida. I have one I got when they first came out. It has been reliable and is easy as hell to conceal. I don't carry it anymore but did in college where you weren't supposed to carry etc. also carried it some working EMS where carrying was prohibited. Better then having nothing and like I said no issues with reliability. |
