it could be a coincidence that Los Angeles City just passed to ban grandfathered hi caps TODAY.

one of the district rep that was speaking did mention that this kill 100 in 100 days is fake.

but "lets all agree to get this passed"

I didn't know it but LA homicides are way above Chicago.  320 to 270 so far this year.

It's a shame that the people in that city have to live in fear when one platoon with air and indirect fire support could end the problem in less than a week.  Figure 3-5k body count, about 15-30 million in damage (no EMT/Fire Dept allowed in the area for the duration.)

So twice the population but only 20% more murders?  Come on Chicago you can't be outdone by those pinko commies on the West Coast.

You could just respond to their post and be like, "Challenge accepted with change of conditions.  200 dead LA gang members in 25 days."  Too much?

Don't discount the upstart gang that will use an opportunity to gain "street cred".

They may only make it to 50....but it doesn't matter.  Don't allow yourself to be an easy target. 'nuff said.

Thankfully LA is banning the possession of normal capacity magazines just in time.

They need to give an advantage to the gangs vs innocents trying to protect themselves don't you know.

Problem is they never hit who they're aiming at. It's always some kid or bystander.

L.A. Gangs’ Hashtag Bet: Kill 100 People in 100 Days

Under the hashtag #100Days100Nights, users on Instagram and Twitter are issuing a stark warning: two Los Angeles gangs are betting which one can kill 100 people—in a gang, or innocent—within the next 100 days.

A law enforcement source confirmed the reports exclusively to The Daily Beast on Monday night.

The bet—which follows the death of “KP,” a member of the Rollin 100 gang—was allegedly made last week.

Gang members say it will remain “on” for 100 days

You know what if it could just be restricted to gang members only I could find it in my heart to look the other way, however it sounds like a lot of innocent people are going to caught up in the crossfire.

Often times when they do, they're shooting at each other with .22's.  Mad street cred from the bullet wounds.  It's like a game, played by people who place no value on their own lives or the lives of others.  True third world behavior.
