Liked the 1-0 win. Alexis Sanchez was a beast out there for Arsenal.

So reports now are LVG offered to resign and Woodward talked him out of it. I suspected but now I'm convinced until they clean the whole house and boot Woodward United is going to continue to be shit.
But they aren't going to do that Woodward gets commercial partners. But signs shit managers and dithers in the transfer market. This team has the real possibility of becoming Liverpool. |

Brit members, a quick question:
I will be traveling overseas soon and would love to schedule in a stop to see a premier league game. Being a Liverpool fan, my choice of game from ideal on down would be seeing Liverpool at Anfield, Liverpool away, to finally any premiere league game as long as tickets aren't astronomical. I see most Anfield games are sold out well in advance. Are there any chance of picking up tickets from someone holding them in advance of the game, even if not through the official channels? I have no idea how ticket sales work of there. Thanks. |
|
Chelsea finally participate in the transfer window. Ramires was sold to a Chinese club, Alexandre Pato was brought in on a 6 month loan.
The rumor mill is claiming Gary Cahill wants out and a deal is in the works for American MLS central defender Matt Miazga. Good luck on tickets. |

Solid performance by ManU in their 3-1 FA Cup win over Derby County.

http://www.bbc.com/sport/football/35461090 Pep Guardiola to succeed Manuel Pellegrini as Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola has agreed a three-year contract to become Manchester City manager in the summer. The 45-year-old, currently in charge at Bayern Munich, will replace Manuel Pellegrini, who will leave on 30 June. A statement from City said Chilean Pellegrini, 62, was "fully supportive" of the announcement being made. View Quote http://www.bbc.com/sport/football/35462919 Pep Guardiola: Does appointment make City Manchester's top club? Pep Guardiola's appointment as Manchester City's next manager was widely expected - but its confirmation still carried enough weight to reverberate throughout world football. The 45-year-old Catalan is the game's most coveted coach, a charismatic and intense personality who has achieved glittering success at Barcelona - where he won two Champions League finals against Manchester United in 2009 and 2011 - and Bayern Munich based on an artistic passing approach. Now Guardiola is coming to the Premier League to direct City to the sort of domination that has always been the ambition of their Abu Dhabi-based owners since they bought the club in 2008. ... Are City now bigger than United? The club once branded "the noisy neighbours" by Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson now have a manager who will be the envy of most supporters at Old Trafford, a man many would have regarded as the perfect Old Trafford appointment. While Manchester United have served up a dull brand of football under the much-criticised Louis van Gaal, City have landed the man who has made his name producing football of the highest quality - with success to match. Since arriving at Bayern at the start of the 2013-14, Guardiola's teams have an 88% passing accuracy in Bundesliga games, averaged 71% possession and scored 224 goals, with Borussia Dortmund their nearest rivals on 179. United may be able to call themselves a bigger business and have a larger worldwide fan base - but by acquiring Guardiola, a man who would have been welcomed any club in the game, City have confirmed they are currently moving forward at a greater pace. City can eclipse United, should they wish, with their financial firepower and they will use that to cash in on the appointment of one of the game's most celebrated and decorated figures. So are they now bigger? In footballing terms the answer is surely 'yes'. View Quote |

I'm a Man United fan... I'm really enjoying LC this year though, the bromance between them and the Panthers has me hoping LC wins the league unless United can pull off a miracle and win it.

Chelsea ties up in MAN U in stoppage time! Monk View Quote Jackson played a great game but he got caught watching the ball. He needs to step up there and play Costa offsides. That jerk is the last guy I want to see score on top of it. Good match. Red Devils young guys are playing well. Mata was very good today. Even AfroMan played well. Still it's like a loss. |

Until it was pointed out on the broadcast after the game, I had no idea that this Van Gaal team is behind the pace, points-wise after 26 matches, of the Moyes team from two years ago. View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes Quoted:

They played poorly against Sunderland and let in 2 soft goals against a team in the relegation zone. They lack the quality up front from seasons past, Wayne Rooney has to go. They are soft at the back. They have overall suffered a lack of confidence and desire all season. They need to get it over with and call Jose. It would fantastic for the league to see him at ManU and Pep at City. |

It would fantastic for the league to see him at ManU and Pep at City. He would destroy the youth element. Injuries at the back have killed them. Moving Martiel to the right after bringing in dupay shut down their best player today. Tactics dictate performance I disagree about Rooney. The midfield save Carrick is lame. I agree with some of your assessments DeGea for sure Losing to lower half teams is unacceptable |
