I don't think this will be a Baltimore or Ferguson but CNN is trying their best.
(CNN)Cincinnati police are investigating the fatal shooting of an apparently unarmed black man by a University of Cincinnati police officer after a confrontation during a traffic stop Sunday.
The dead man, who was shot in the head, was Samuel Dubose, a 43-year-old father of 13 children, according to CNN affiliate WKRC-TV. A CNN records search showed that Dubose had more than 60 arrests. Authorities identified the officer as Ray Tensing, who has five years' experience in law enforcement and who has worked for the University of Cincinnati Police Department for more than a year. He is white. View Quote http://www.cnn.com/2015/07/21/us/cincinnati-police-shooting/index.html?sr=fb072115shootsmotorist4pVODtopLink |

"Know that my son was not a violent person," she said. "My son ... he got stopped a lot but he never tried to fight." |

"There was a struggle at the door with Mr. Dubose in the vehicle and the officer outside the vehicle, and the vehicle sped away," Cincinnati police Lt. Col. James Whalen told reporters. Tensing fired a single shot, hitting the driver in the head. Tensing fell to the ground as he fired the shot, bruising his legs and tearing his uniform, Cincinnati police said. I live in Cincinnati. I have one question for you. If a liquor store is having a 'everything is free sale' tonight, any recommendations on what liquor I should try?

Tensing asked several times to see Dubose's driver's license, Cincinnati police said. Instead, police said, Dubose handed the officer a bottle of alcohol.

Wow, it must have been a lot of work making all of those child support payments!

It might be more than 13.
ubose was known in the neighborhood as a music producer. Callie Lee, who grew up in Walnut Hills, said Dubose once recorded her son singing "In the Still of the Night.” "Sam gave him free studio time,” said Lee, whose friends call her Cookie. Russell Dubose, 23, said his cousin loved producing rap and R&B records especially. "He was just an overall good person with a big heart,” Russell Dubose said. "If I was having a bad day, he was always able to turn it around. He was a joker.” He was also a father – many times over. One relative estimated that he had 13 children. Another said the tally was closer to 20. Johnson said she lost count. Dubose was never married, she said. View Quote |
