I wonder how many billets for General Officers were eliminated?
Oh, fucking wait, we have just as many Generals as we did in 1945! Thank god, those guys are awesome. Pretty soon "Squad Leader" will be a GO billet. |

Our soldiers are getting thrown under the bus again. And yet no talk of getting rid of the 30+ million (and climbing) illegal aliens sucking our social services, schools, jails, hospitals and other taxpayer funded institutions dry. No talk of cutting foreign aid, welfare, section 8, EBT, SNAP, TANF, WIC, Obama phones, corporate welfare or tax payer funded bailouts for too big to fail banks.
Maybe we should consider cutting all the useless, unauthorized, duplicate and bloated Gov agencies in DC first before we even think about cutting the military and direct support DoD civilians. I have a very bad feeling in the near future we are going to witness something absolutely catastrophic happen to our once proud, strong and moral country. We are witnessing this republic slowly commit national suicide and I don’t know if we are going to be able to recover.

Yep, when cuts need to be made, the liberals always first start slashing the military. They can't take a penny from the money used for illegal aliens, Obamacare, Obamaphones and all the other socialist bullshit they spend OUR money on. But they most certainly can make drastic cuts to one of the few things Federal government actually has a responsibility in maintaining....a strong national defense.
I pray we don't get into a major war anytime soon. Our military was barely adequate in terms of overall size following the "Grow the Army Plan" initiated by the Bush administration. At the rate we are going, we aren't going to be able to deploy more than one fucking BCT at a time within a few years. |
