. . . that so-called June Bugs don't start showing up until July?  Just call them fucking July Bugs and be done with it.

This world makes no sense.

Because MOST of the June bugs come out in June not July. Hence the name.

It seems like at least once a week in the summer I'll be standing around, minding my own business, when one of those big bastards flies right into the side of my head. Then once it falls to the ground, it kind of spins around flapping its wings upside down for several seconds before figuring out how to right itself and fly off.

June bugz & motorcycles = bad mix.

Took one right in the forehead at about 70 one night. That fucker left a big welt for a few days.
Caught another one on the top rim of the headlight... Massive spall of blood, guts & parts in the face.
When riding at night.. keep yer pie hole shut..

Another reason I wear a full face helmet.  I had bugs hit that sounded like someone threw a marble at my head!

We don't get them where I live, but a few minutes away on the other side of town there's plenty. Funny how that works.
