Rent a lot for biz.

I like the Ford products.

Fusion is pretty nice.

The SUVs too.

Fuck Chevy and Dodge.
Kia I just had last week was a pos.

Recently rented a Grand Cherokee Limited and a Ford Edge (can't remember model but it was loaded). They are both on my short list. Absolutely loved the Jeep.

F-150 with the big rear seat that folds up so the floor is huge and flat behind the driver seat. That and the short bed made me seriously think about getting one. It was nice to drive, great for long trips and pretty useful to me.

Dealer gave me a loaner Expedition when my car was in his shop for service.  Ended up buying a used Expy from someone else though.  Dealer planted the seed but didn't reap the harvest.

I think the infection actually spread.

I wanted an Impala like the one on my honeymoon but since I got a divorce... I'm think why get something to remember that shit.

I have owned five dodge diesels since '91.

Loved them all.

Wife had a company Nissan Xterra.

We loved it.

25mpg and we were not kind to it.

Thing was flawless.

If I could not buy a cummins we would buy an Xterra.

My Mom did, rented a Flex for a family trip, liked it so much that when she had her Taurus in for service, she told a salesmen the list of must haves. He found one, had it driven over and she left with it.

I have a Fiesta rental right now.  Actually a pretty nice car and I can see why it has gotten good media reviews.  For a daily commuter and bomb around town car I could see owning one.  Would be nice as a way to keep miles off my truck too.

I don't call that getting it out of your system.

In almost every case after I came home after a trip, when I drove my wife's Chevy home from the airport I immediately noticed how much nicer the Chevy was to drive than the car I rented.

I rented one car that didn't have a key lock for the trunk; I had to read through the owner's manual to figure out how to open the trunk.  I rented several cars that couldn't get out of their own way.

Two exceptions:  a Ford Taurus was a very nice car (just before the recent Aston Martin-like generation), although too big for my tastes.

Also, I rented a Nissan Sentra.  It wasn't much fun to drive, but the [gas mileage * fuel tank size = driving range] was exceptional.

Yes. A hyundai accent.

I once rented a Dodge Avenger and couldn't get away fast enough. The Challenger was a great car. Many others that were just average.

Had the opposite happen.  Rented a jeep liberty and my God was that thing such a POS.  The thing had 7k miles on it and i rattled to hell, had sluggish acceleration, and just felt like a beat down humvee.

Oh and I also have a Sonata (wife's car), that thing is bitchin

Opposite:

Wanted a Jeep, rented one for a couple of weeks in Hawaii.
No longer wanted a Jeep.

Sticking with Toyota for my offroad needs.

Not yet but the last car I rented was a Hyundai Sonata Hybrid and that was a nice car.  Hyundai is killing it these days with their cars.

I rented an M3 once because I didn't want to buy one.  Just wanted a day with it.  It was great!  Not cheap, around $500 with insurance (Car was ~$300).  Always wanted an M3 and a day with one worked some of the bugs out of my system.

Chrysler LHS.

Not the smartest move I've ever made.

These days I end up disliking most of the ones I rent.  Ford Edge was the most recent.

We were stuck with a 2014 Town and Country after my wife's wreck. I was bummed getting stuck with a minivan...until I drove it. We have a 2014 Dodge Caravan(same as the T&C) now.
