Are you kidding? If that happened at work we would have gotten years of laughs out of it. Yeah, but we all know NYPD is almost exclusively staffed by psychopaths though. We mercilessly mocked the cop at work who shot at a guy and instead killed a grandmother sitting on her porch. Even more so after we found out he wanted to put in for a medal. Stay classy. I'm not the one who tried to get a medal after killing an innocent bystander. |

The dog's name is "Patches" according to the story. I sure would love to see a pic of the dog. That doesn't sound like a pitbull or rottweiler dog name. sounds like a terrier or collie or pug, or something.

What a pussy. Not funny to be so incompetent or hyped up that you not only miss the deadly threat but to hit a 4 year old girl. Are you kidding? If that happened at work we would have gotten years of laughs out of it. There would be a picture of a dog put on my desk for years. I love how it is assumed that if you shot a child while trying to shoot her dog, you'd still have a desk for people to put prank pics on years after. Sadly we all know it's true. |

We mercilessly mocked the cop at work who shot at a guy and instead killed a grandmother sitting on her porch. Even more so after we found out he wanted to put in for a medal. IMO, that kind of negligence shouldn't be mocked or laughed at - it should be punished and held up as an example to others, that you own the consequences of every bullet you fire, from the moment it leaves your barrel until it comes to rest. Meh, I'm not the PC or the DA. Those decisions were wayyyy above my paygrade. Nevertheless, using an event like that as an office joke is pretty messed up. If I had a co-worker who (for example) tried to tie his shoes on the road in a company car and ran over a kid or an old woman through his own negligence, I don't think anybody would be making jokes about it. |
