This is exactly nothing like that. It is most certainly "AROCKING" if you lose your job over posting on this website and many of us are under that threat if our identity were exposed. Explain to me how a picture that he posted, and that only is linked to his USERNAME, is somehow identifying him, or posting his personal information? I have no idea what his name is, where he lives, where he works, etc. The posted picture does not allow anyone to find those things. That's why it is not even close to Arocking. If a reverse image search on his picture would give me his name, employer and address, THEN it would be a problem. That's why Shenanigunz/Sherman got a time-out. He posted a picture from another members work website, which led directly back to the member 's name, workplace, etc - thus it was a matter of posting identifying personal information. (Btw - that was still not technically Arocking, which is why he only got a temporary lock, and not a permanent ban). This is just a picture, which only leads back to his username that we already know. Huge difference. Like I said in my initial post, it's still a bit of a dick move - but there are lots of dick and classless behaviors in GD that are not technically CoC violations. |
