In the summer, most nights after work. Other seasons, we just play ball in the yard

Not as often as I'd like.  But I do sit outside drink beer and play fetch several days a week .

why? open door let him run.

We do play fetch with a tennis ball and racket until he collapses in his wading pool daily.

I take my 3 every day after work. Doesn't matter the season.

I try for once a day but it ends up being every other day.
At least she gets to run off leash a bunch when we do go, they need to be able to run/root around chasing squirrels/birds and smelling stuff.

I think it's good for their metal health.

Jack and I usually walk down to the community mailbox at the corner every day. Sunday he seems to know we're not going. He's also smarter than I am so don't be too impressed. I'm just the doorman.

We try to walk her daily in nice weather. This weekend has sucked because the high Nevada desert strikes again and it has been raining and snowing. The snow in the pic is not from this weekend as it all melted and turned the yard into mud.

Never for walks.

But everyday wear him out with a soccer ball and a blue squeaky ball until he hacks and essentially says "Wheres the water?" then goes to the couch to watch Netflix.

Little dude has it made.

Winters in Seattle suck. Depending on weather 3-5 times. She usually gets play time at a dog park and gets to swim once or twice a month.

2-3 times a day. On the days that he goes to "doggy day care," we're usually good because he is so tired when he gets home from playing with the other dogs. It's good for us - keeps us in shape. We also run him for as many of the other five days as we can. He's only good for a couple of miles running before he poops out. The weather is getting hotter here, too, now.

Used to run him 4 or 5 days a week, 3 or 4 miles each time. Now that it's getting nice out I am trying to get there again, but his pads are too soft from the winter so I need to take it easy on him for a while.

He would run until he collapses. To him there is nothing better than running full bore.

I have tried walking him a few times and it doesn't work too well. He doesn't like to walk.

Not as often as she or I would like, on average 3-4 times a week for either a walk or run of 2-3 miles.  Days that does not get done I'll go out back and do 20 min or so of tag with her which is essential combat cardio doggy style.

... every fucking day that weather permits. It's typically the the highlight of our day!

Seriously, I cannot even fathom not taking my dags to run in the park before I leave to work

I take my dog Osa for a four mile walk in the forest almost every day.

Off the leash whenever possible so she can run and play in what ever water she can find!

We have a couple of acres, so she runs around outside a lot. When she comes in I always have ice water for her. We also take her hiking and we take her to the municipal airport and drive around on the golf cart. We "hunt" with her and she also "pulls" the golf cart. She freakin loves golf carts. When we land at the smaller airports that have guys that meet you at the plane, we get her out and she goes over and hops on the golf cart and waits to be driven. Everyone likes our girl.

2ea 50lb bitches.

One Shepperd/ Pit mix and the other Red Nose pit. Try to walk them every day though more often thnt not it's 4-5 times week for 30-45 min, off leash in the woods and lakes. When we're at the beach I take them to a little red neck riveria and they run in the woods, sand and swim in the ocean.

One of these days a Gator or a shark is going to get them. Came close in late '13 when 6 or 7' gator stalked one of them. He took off when I walked over to see what was going on.

Never, all six of them have the run of 16 acres. They all respect the hot wire horse fence around it. They are outside constantly throughout the day rough housing, running and having a blast.
Here is four of them playing stick.

3 Year old German Wirehair Pointer

4 days a week off leash.  I walk about 4 miles, dog goes an average of 8 (verified with a Garmin Alpha).  Twice a week I hook her up to the bike and road her for about 6 miles.  During that time I'm peddling a little sometimes and she is pulling the bike.  She gets an off day after bike day two.
Once we get into hunting season we skip the bike because she runs 40-50 miles each weekend chasing birds.

Why have we stopped?

My old pup has severe hip dysplasia, so not very often.  He can handle going to the pond near our house and back, but it's like a 150 yard round trip.  In the summer we try and take him a couple times per week.

Now that's a nice looking dog. I've always loved the look of dobermans, but haven't spent much time ugh them.

I don't walk my dog. She get in my truck every morning, and goes to work with me. By the time we get home, we are both too tired to go for a stroll. Lol.

I had a miniature long haired wiener dog  which never got walked.  She would run around the back yard with the kids and get her energy out.  I'd let her out two or three times/day and she would do her business.  She didn't like to walk too far with her little legs, just run around in the grass for awhile and take a nap in the sun with her belly to the sky.

Man, I miss Miss Lucie.    She was a great part of the family.

Two times a day every day regardless of season or weather.  6am before work and 6pm after work. Shock collar only. He hasn't been leashed since December. Mutt just turned 1 last month and he's the most obedient dog in the neighborhood.

I also take him once a week on a 2-4 mile woods walk.  Once the water warms up well be spending 1-4 days a week on the lake or at the beach.

My old dog, a beagle I got when I was 10 was walked every single day twice a day for 10 years until he died of cancer

She goes 3 times everyday. Two walks about a mile each and one walk  two and half miles.  Other than my wife she is my best friend.

Also, in my neighborhood most people walk their dogs about 2x/day.  Some of the retired people I see walking theirs 5-6 but I guess that's more for their exercise.
