Similar thing happened in NW VA a few years back. I'm ok with taking out the herd, but when buffalo carcasses were left just rotting under an atmospheric water storage tank, I realized not just PETA is stupid.

This is the unpublicized cruelty that happens to herds of buffalo. If they had left them in their natural state, they could have easily flown over the highway without incident.

My sis was in the middle of this. Was working on a way to get them rounded up but the owner wanted nothing to do with it. Just wanted them shot. such a strange situation.

CSPD used >80 rounds of 223, not all of which ended up in the intended targets link The incident left four homes and a car with bullet holes, and police received numerous calls from people shocked at television images of the animals absorbing dozens of bullets.
