The situation with the wife's grandmother is so fucked up.

Hospital calls wife's aunt, tells her ma is unresponsive, she calls wife's mom (her sister) and says she is unresponsive, she is gone, and asks her to let everyone else know as she is too upset..... wife's mom calls the rest of the family and tells them all she is dead......

They all rush to the shore to console each other when the hospital calls to tell them she is being moved to a different room..... wife's sister who took the call then has to say "um guys, she isn't dead"........

So apparently she is still alive but part of the do not resuscitate also says no not artificially feed so they removed the feeding tube last Friday (not sure if anyone in the family understood about that).

My guess is she dies in the next few days and our romantic trip for two to Paris becomes a trip to NJ for a funeral.

I'm sorry, Mark. That's depressing and frustrating.

Yes, Mark, I'm sorry, too.
Nothing like poor communication to make a bad situation worse.

Hang in there bro.

This too shall pass.  That's what people have been telling me lately, so I know there's some truth to it.

Went to my niece's soccer game, bought 50 pounds of fertilizer, mowed, fertilized, scratched out the dead areas, seeded, and drank a shitload of beer.

Got a mild sunburn (the good kind). I am on tired and slightly drunk dragon.

I quit doing funerals after my father's. I was only at that one for less than an hour.
I don't expect anyone to come to mine, either.

We've had more funerals than weddings here too. I've got a wardrobe of dark clothing.

I spent the day taking care of baby girl as very pregnant wife is also very sick with bronchitis, no energy, no appetite, puking, no breath, etc etc. Hopefully she feels better soon, doing all I can to make her more comfortable.

Glad yall showed up!!!
I was going to ask about tractors.
Im looking at 10 acres, but its dense.
Like jungle.
Id like to keep as many trees as possible, but clear the underbrush of about 5 acres of it.
There is probably a 1-2 acres pond on it, that Ill leave wooded around it.

Im thinking 4wd, FEL, with maybe a 48" bush hog.

Also, been thinking of skid steers with a mulching head, but they are $$$.

Figure if I can spend $10K on a setup, thats what clearing the land would cost me anyway.

Im all for tractors but clearing it might not be that expensive. I had 2 acres of TREES bulldozed out for $1100 a few years ago.

But also, I am sure I could use the tractor down the road, just to maintain the 5 acres I clear.
So itll be an investment also.

I have a 10-round tube.  You still have to load it on the clock...  I still load the "slow way," but I'm too cheap to buy new shell caddies.  If I wanted to participate in a gear war, I'd shoot open division.
