We currently have at least one QUACK on us tv giving shitty medical advice and despite the fact that he is wrong so often and giving shitty medical advice his peers at a University can not get him removed. I keep my cats fixed and indoors for just this reason, you cannot domesticate a feline as much as a dog. I never have to worry about my cats destroying other peoples property or getting shot by a cunt with a bow and arrow. Be responsible for your pets so others cant harm them.

My wife is a vet- actually did an externship at that clinic. When news of this first came out, it spread to all of the vet clinics around. I guarantee you every clinic in Texas has heard about it and would recognize her picture. For those saying a qualified vet is impossible to find and she'll be able to find a job wherever she wants, you're partly right. Good vets are very hard to find. Mediocre and shitty vets are easier to find.
That being said, nobody around here will touch her no matter how good she is or at least, how good she thinks she is. You saw the deal about the CFO guy berating the chic-fil-a drive through girl right? He's still unemployed years later - had one job very briefly until his new company found out who he was and promptly fired his ass. That's what it'll probably be like for this dumbshit. She will need a name change, and even then if anyone finds out about it or makes it public, she'll be on questionable ground. I think feedlot or FDA vet is where she'll be for a while. I know there's going to be PETA people following her around for a few years actively trying to destroy her career. My wife hunts, but doesn't make it public and doesn't post pics - its difficult enough for people to grasp how a vet could shoot a deer but at least they see deer as food animals even if they are "cute". Animals widely considered to be pets are off limits if you're a DVM- shoot the feral cat (if it was) but as others have said SSS. |
