Now the ads come up automatically on android and cover half the screen. Others start playing videos and sound automatically without anyway to exit them, just an arrow on the side minimizes them while they continue to play sound and move on to the next ad.

This site is increasingly user unfriendly.

The problem is not access to features. The problem is that the ad generator makes the user experience of the website hostile while using a mobile device.

I've had my share of paid memberships, and as a normal non-paying member I am OK with the ads that are part of that. The big problem is now something has changed. Instead of non invasive advertising, we have hostile advertising that:
1. Locks your browser so you can't go back or reload pages. Forcing me to close the window and open a new window.
2. control my device by opening applications I did not choose to do or give it permission to do.
3. Pop up ads which take up nearly half of my screen.
4. Pop up ads that play video and sound, these stay on the screen continuing to play media as there is no option to close the window, only "minimize" it to the right.
5. Pop up ads that have "count downs" before they let you close the window.
And
6. Last week was full of auto downloading files. I don't know how this relates to advertising, but I would assume arfcom is not downloading files to my device.

As already stated. I am OK being a non paid member. The experience in the past as such has always been bearable regarding the advertising, but something changed.
The current method of advertising on the site is so bad that long time addicts to the site are feeling shut out. Imagine someone browsing the site for the first time - the type of advertising today for non members approaches porn advertising tactics...

That's my gripe, lack of features won't drive people away, the hostile porn style advertising is going to make this unbearable for new and longterm members.
