That was a long haul. Left NJ 5pm yesterday as soon as I was done with work to drive back to WI. I stopped at a rest stop and slept for an hour around 3am in northern Indiana, then went the rest of the way and got to my parents place about 8:30.
I have spent most of the time since I got here fucking with the pile of gun shit I ordered to their house that I can't have in NJ. |

The thing I have trepidations about is messing with the structural integrity. I know that it has steel inlays as part of the support structure but I'm not sure how much the sides/glass fit into it. Of course if I made a roof rack that was integral to the topper I wouldn't have to worry about anything |

A floating piece of foam will let you get more pressure in a certain spot. That will let you concentrate a bit more pressure on what part you want to be the primary retention point. |
