I remember thinking as a very young lad that the guy in that video looked like a retard.

Further recent perusal shows that I was a fairly insightful boy.

Did you know -

that Paul Roberts, the singer from Sniff 'n' The Tears is also a painter, and that much of his work would get me banned from GD for posting it?

It's pretty soft, but definitely not coc compliant.

Tommy Tutone. The answer to a one hit wonder question is always Tommy Tutone. But since somebody already mentioned it previously -

I give you .......... Walter Egan...... Magnet and Steel.

The Hollies were not a one hit wonder. Other hits from them include He Ain't Heavy, He's My Brother(Elton John played the piano); Bus Stop; and The Air That I Breath.

They turned down Marrakesh Express and Graham Nash bailed on the band to record it as the first single of Crosby, Stills, Nash, And Young. They recorded Bruce Springstein's 4th Of July, Asbury Park and it didn't succeed. Their list of almosts and oops is rather notable.

They also recorded After The Fox with Peter Sellers as the guest vocalist.

This was already mentioned, but it's one my personal favorites.
