and EVERY OTHER FUCKING ONE IS A GODDAMN SHEMP!
What did I ever do to deserve this?!?! |

I like Curly better, too, but Shemp was one of the original members. The Stooges were comedic geniuses who were never allowed to know how valuable they actually were to their studio.

Uh, Shemp is in some of the most classic stooge episodes ever.
Curly and Shemp are both fine. It's the third guy who was shit. |

[#5]
OH SHIT.
They up to 2/3 Shemp now. This HAS to be an April Fools joke. (Shemp is just is NOT funny. The exact same short with Curly is hilarious) |

Curly was always my favorite.
Shemp, I suffered through. I feel you OP. |

Curly was legendary, but Shemp was VERY good. He just had the problem of following a legend, and even a great can pale before a legend. But Shemp (who actually was a stooge prior to Curly, on stage) was a very good performer.
"Malice in the Palace" is one of my all-time favorites, and its got Shemp. It was said that when he died, Moe owned half of Los Angeles. I'm sure that's an exaggeration, but Moe was sharp and invested his resources extremely well. |

Ive only ever watched part of one episode because they aren't funny. At all. I've never understood how people can stand the Three Stooges, but then again I've met people who don't think Steely Dan is the best band ever, so I know there are some strange people out there.

Happiness was a fall day, eating smoked wild hog / venison sausage and cheese on crackers, drinking Buffalo Trace and watching a Stooge Marathon.
Liberal g/f got miffed because it wasn't "something we could both watch", saying there was too much poking and slapping |

I never got the hate for Shemp, he's hilarious.
Curly is awesome too. Love 'em all. |

Shemp was funny, but Curly was amazing. His delivery, timing, the way he moved, his pratfalls... everything was natural with him.The guy was an absolute artist.

Never got the Stooges. How many times can you hit someone with a hammer before it isn't funny anymore?
I prefer Abbott and Costello. |
