I had a bunch of GooglePlay Store credit so I just bought the app to watch it...for now. Live Timing Nissan is 19 seconds off, FYI. |

Thanks for the PM! Does anyone know how to buy Sky for F1 and WEC? Their site is confusing for anyone who just wants to watch the races and not get their TV service. View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes Quoted:

Sky doesn't broadcast WEC, it's on Eurosport. As an American you technically cannot buy Sky. I believe some people use a Proxi service to show a UK IP address and buy Sky weekend passes for F1, but some people have been busted doing that. |

FWIW a proxy or VPN won't always give a decent stream. Eastern European sites are the way to go if you know where to look. WEC is on Motors TV except for Le Mans. Eurosport is supposed to have Le Mans coverage. I hope so. I finally found Eurosport in English |

For what it's worth, the paid FIA WEC stream is completely worth the 10 Euros. Quality is excellent, plenty of in-car footage. Works on both the website, and their app.

Probably the right time and place to post this blast from the past, 1981 Sports Illustrated
Like any NASCAR veteran, Cale looked immediately for a soft spot to
spin it out. There was a fine, grassy patch just off the track ahead. But, unhappily, it was crowded with spectators, and there were a couple of race marshals there as well. Cale recalls that an image instantly froze on his mind: the spectators were chewing on those long, thin loaves of bread and drinking red wine from bottles without labels. And with the fat, 20-inch-wide tires on the Camaro, there was no way he could spin it on the track to scrub off speed. "I tried everything," he says. "I tried grabbin' gears guardrail and slammed her in." View Quote "Honey, ah crashed." |

Itching to go back It'll be our third time in a row, if you do go back, you HAVE to get the pit walk passes. Its a great way to get to see all of the cars up close before the race. Also they have the challenge race before they roll the cars out on to the grid but at the same time the pit walk is going on, its awesome to see pit stops going on feet away from you. |

Porsche knows how to build a race car that's for sure.
Why is Toyota so slow this year? Why do the only have 2 cars? Are they quitting? I hear nary a peep about Toyota and they are the P1 team I'm rooting for. They were technically excellent last year. Bad luck. They were also technically excellent in 1999. Bad luck. Honestly I feel the Toyota team is underfunded compared to the other two, even to NISMO. Toyota must know that it is impossible to win with less funding than the the competition, and I'm sure Toyota has no other objective other than to win overall at Le Mans. I hope the NISMO cars do not embarrass themselves too badly. |

TV listings for Le Mans:
http://www.foxsports.com/motor/story/24-hours-le-mans-tv-schedule-060415 Will watch of course, but it looks like the big boys are going to be getting more involved in the coming years. Ford returns in 2016, and BMW will probably be back in 2018. Gonna be some good races coming up... |

Ford's official announcement.
Mulsanne's Corner Blorg LM24 Update My overall winner support is torn between Audi and Porsche. Last year I leaned Audi. This year I think I'm leaning Porsche, even though I think Audi still has the edge. 9am the flag waves. I'm very excited, this is going to be a great race. |

I wouldn't mind seeing Webbo or Hulk win. The real racing is in GTE Pro. |

I don't know why but I don't like the idea of a Japanese car winning overall without Wankel. We also need to remember that speed isn't everything. Audi has proven over and over that reliability is king and that tire wear adds up. Porsche may be fast but if they break they'll lose. Toyota won the WEC last year but not Le Mans, arguably more important that the WEC overall. Did they sacrifice speed for reliability this season? We'll find out in 9 hours! |

Labre Competition Corvette went into the wall at the Porsche Curves during warmup.
No word on if they will make the start. |

24 Hours of LeMans on now. Fox Sports 2.
Ch 618 on Direct TV. WOO HOO! The race of the year IMHO. |
|
I cant stream it here at work, the only thing I can get to come up is the inside 24 hours channel, and it's the same pre-recorded 20 min video looped over and over.
