PSA Fox will do their damnedest to make the races unwatchable. To be fair, most European races, like LeMans for instance, provide the feeds and the US guys do a decent job with the commentary. Then again, we may get the European commentators. The Fox commentators make MotoGP almost unwatchable. I mean, I like Kevin Schwantz and Scott Russel but I don't want to hear about a race they ran twenty years ago. The Euro commentators at least sound like they're interested in the race, hell, they sound like their very existence is dependant on the outcome. It's exciting to listen to them call a race. |

Scott has always sounded uninterested in everything, but someone who sounds so laid back, the boy is quick on his feet, not just a bike. He grew up with my daughter and his sister was her best friend way back in the '80s. |

Spa is beautiful, but cruel.
Just short of thirty years ago I was glued to the TV watching the 956 Porsches blast through the Belgian countryside. My heart sank when I saw Stefan Bellof lose his life headed through Eau Rouge. I can't ever look at Eau Rouge/Raidillon without thinking of that day. Notwithstanding, it is the most beautiful and exciting set of corners in Motorsport. |

I don't recall there being this many open cockpit P2s at Silverstone.

Well hell, I guess I didn't pay enough attention to my on screen listings. I didn't realize they were gonna move to FoxSports2.
Gotta reset my other DVR as well. |

There it is. Very interesting race. Very exciting race. Wish Porsche had gotten it done. I gotta tell you that I have a hard time picking a favorite between Porsche and Audi. Porsche got me into the sport long ago but Audi is who I've been supporting for over a decade. As long as the winning car is German and not Japanese I think I'm happy. |

ATTENTION:
Unlike the last years there will not be any sleeping allowed June 13-14, as the 24 hours of Le Mans will have camera operators overnight this year making the coverage more than delirious commentators and security camera footage. Please plan accordingly. End announcement |

Something that would be interesting, I remember that at the Petit Le Mans or some other race at Road Atlanta (I believe) they had flood lights at corners with camera coverage. It was very cool seeing the cars come out of the dark, turning from 2 headlights into a car roaring out of the night, almost like when cars on dark highways drive through a well lit exit ramp. I wonder if they'll try anything like that. |

Unfortunately It's my understanding that if you buy it on the app it doesn't work on the website. If you don't want to pay I'm sure I'll find a website streaming it. |
|
Excuse my ignorance. I don't own a smartphone. I know nothing about apps.
Anyone know if the version of the app on Google Play will work on a regular computer? I'd rather pay for a quality stream then go fishing on Eastern European websites and hope I can find the race. Motors TV is showing all the WEC races EXCEPT for Le Mans. My sources for FS1 and FS2 are down. Been down for awhile and I'm assuming they'll stay down. |

Found a Android emulator called Bluestack.
Loaded it on both computers. Paid my $11.19 Neither laptop has enough horsepower to play videos through the emulator. Crap! Looks like a Russian language feed thru Eurosport for video and Radio Le Mans for audio. If I'm lucky FS1 and/or FS2 will come back online but I'm not holding my breath. |

The Man & Le Mans http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v145/ZekeMenuar1/5551f97b3196e.jpg?t=1432267916 View Quote I hope to get to see this soon. It will be bittersweet for me to watch as I'm sure it will show one of my childhood heroes in conditions of turmoil. Le Mans is very special to me because my older brother took me to see the film in the theater in 1971. I was seven years old. I consider myself extremely lucky to have been as young as I was and get to experience the pinnacle of motor racing cinema. I have been a die hard Porsche fan since that day. ETA: Just saw a TAG/Heuer commercial during the Indycar race. It featured a few clips from the movie. |
