Ruger non 22 pistols.  I know they are good quality guns but I just have never liked them.  Everytime I pick one up and have the same reaction.

WHAT?  Did I hear that right?

Anyway, back to Glocks.  I have owned some and still have one, but the love just does not flow.  They seem great.  I remember that site where the gut tried everything he could to kill a Glock and couldn't.

Glocks- I shoot them ok but they just feel like shit in my hand.

bullpups- I just plain hate the looks and refuse to try one.

1911's- I like them, but I'm not spending a grand to get a good one that will hold up to a lot of shooting when I can spend half that on a poly gun that is just as good or better.

I knew you'd comment on the Enfield thing. I expect Fluffy and Bimba will have something to say about the Garands. Old guns just don't do it for me though.

1911's... I have shot many of them and just don't get it.  I don't fault anyone for loving them and actually wish I saw the light, but they just don't do it for me.

Ruger Sr 9, that loaded chamber indicator is the gayest shit I've ever seen. Actually most modern rugers as a whole. The safety paragraph they stamp has to go.

I have six guns coming in this month, with the most recent being early 1950s.

Only one is in .303, though.

I also concur with this correction as not to water down the definition of "rustled jimmies".  "rustled jimmies" as in; "Hildabeast wiping her personal server used for .gov affairs, a criminal act that will go unpunished, really rustles my jimmies!"

Considering price issues with .22 ammo, I have even less desire to get one.

Lever Action .30-30's.  I kinda get the popularity way back when 30-30 was the only intermediate cartridge around, and a LA gun was still considered a fast-firing gun, but these days they're about as practical as an SKS with a half-empty magazine.  LA's in other calibers, sure.  I get.  I want.  But not the .30-30.

Also, most of the category of "Semi-Auto guns that are really only worth a shit if they're Full-Auto."    RPK's.  The SA M1919's you can get from Atlantic Arms.  I coon-fingered a really cool RPD from DSA a few years ago, but it's pointless as a semi auto.  Ohio Ordnance Works, I love you, you're awesome, but WTF am I gonna do with a thirteen thousand dollar semi-auto M240? (Having said that, a BAR in any configuration is on my bucket list, so I guess I'm outing myself as a hypocrite)

I really want an FAL, but I've never shot one and I almost don't want to try one out of fear that I'll hate shooting it and my dreams will be crushed.
