Thermoregulation is treatable.
If waivers exist and peeps bring more IV sets, everybody can get one as far as I'm concerned.
We had a DOC, a nurse and my happy ass there; and an O2 tank and a spineboard.

Nobody dethermoregulates on my watch.

Unlike OG, I am only four miles from a hospital.
Unfortunately, however, if you show up with a broken toe you will probably leave with an amputated arm. And hepatitis.
I might rent a jeep to go through the course.

My swamp has eaten everything that has tried to traverse it except for one jeep.
Only one.

So if you rent a jeep... Get comprehensive coverage.

Hm.   I'd bring one of my deuces or 5 tons to take that challenge, but it would cost a mortgage payment in diesel to get it there and back.

Thermoregulation had nothing on the Bar of Bad Decisions.

No one was permanently blinded by the Paki whiskey, or what ever the other stuff was. So that's a plus, right?

My favorite was the third stop. "Plum brandy, this stuff is great!"

Lies, all lies.

We can talk about it.  I've got some fundraising ideas, and as long as most people want one and are willing to have a buckle instead of a tshirt, we'll be able to find the money.

A lot depends on timeline.  If CWT happens next year, we'll be a lot better prepared.

Hey guys...spoke to the wife unit about going and cooking either gumbo or jambalaya...

Is there a ball park on how many people will be there?

If we cook stuff, we will need to know in order to plan.

Figure some jambalaya...maybe some breakfast tacos, and other good stuff.

I can probably get somebody to <cough cough> donate a case of 1L .9 and some fistula needles in 14,15, 16, or 17 ga. and a couple of universal IV starter kits. I know a fistula needle is not ideal but it should work.

If we add another CW in 2017 it will also be a summer one far away from TX.

That should be cool. Lots of veterans, and a reasonable drive for us CWE'ers for a regional.

Sweet.  Yes, that would be well located.

Discus is an interesting idea. So are there any plans yet for Texas BBQ? Are you thinking pork or brisket?

This is true.

Also...I'm in.

Have to be a CW Vet to run one. Do we even have any vets from the extreme northwest?

I believe we had a handful of folks from WA up there.

Crash helped run CWW, but didn't run the course, so I guess he doesn't count. I'd be more than willing to help out in a CWPACNW, and I'm sure others from the area would be too

I tend to agree. Also, someone made a damn good point. If there is ever a Cola Warrior up in the north or midwest they wont be able to really do it in between november-march. Maybe we should move CWT to like Mid January and make it a cold run. Thoughts?

A lot depends on timeline.  If CWT happens next year, we'll be a lot better prepared.

Yeah, it needs to happen in 2016.

I've worked from can to can't in MS heat and think it would be fun during the day, but I've also camped in 90 degree summer nights and that sucks!! Hard to sleep with sweat pouring out constantly, it can be done, but someone will need to be on deodorant spray duty for breakfast. I've wore T-shirts at Christmas also so a 70 degree December is possible that far south, if mid west gets traction they will need a spot in the summer IMlowlyO.
January would  spread it out compared to the rest, and Texas would be one of the only places where Jan is doable in a tent for womez and chillrens.

  Summer is best.

This is what I see 2016 looking like:

CWW: Early spring
CWSE: Early spring
CW Championship: Late Spring
CWT: Summer
CWE4: Fall

If we add another CW in 2017 it will also be a summer one far away from TX.

Where is CW SE?

ETA: Somebody in Washington or Idaho needs to start one.

Now we just have to convice LouisianaRebel to host CWSouth
