Why are ther so many sub .500 teams still? There are 19 teams below .500, including the White Sux (who supposedly won the offseason), the Indians (who SI picked to win the World Series and are damn near out of it already) and the Nats (whom SI picked to win the NL pennant). I wonder if this is because of all the intra-division so far. The Tigers have been beating up on the central, as have the Royals.i wonder if that is why the results are what they are, because teams are beating up their own divisions and have hardly played outside of their divisions yet. It's waay too early to give up on the Indians. They have the best rotation in the division, Kluber and Carrasco and key pieces for their pen have been playing like shit to state it plainly. I could see three AL Cental teams making the playoffs. White Sox simply cannot hit for shit. As always, offenses heat up with the weather and peak in August so we'll see. Don't think so, eh? Gimme Kluber Carrasco and Salazar over any three of anyone else in the division and it's not even really close. It's a long season. |

I laughed so hard at this play yesterday during the cubs game.

My point is it's still waay too early to count teams out unless they really suck like the Rangers and Phillies. |

Last year, Baltimore beat the Tigers in the ALDS. This year Baltimore had riots and the Orioles had to play to an empty stadium and take home games on the road. Obviously God hates fans of teams that beat the Tigers. May his judgement on KC be swift and merciless. |

How does MLB take DraftKings.com as an advertiser, incorporate them into MLB Network shows and still keep Pete Rose out of baseball?

Are you talking about the safety hat that looks like some sort of religious headgear? It's like a ring that goes around his regular hat. Like some kind of deal that he velcros over his hat, like a belly band or a fanny pack. Dumber than Hell. |

Kershaw is an embarrassment this year View Quote i think he'll pick it up sooner than later... but still, i've always said Greinke is the better pitcher... i'd trust him way more with a playoff game on the line.. and he's a fucking weirdo, too. to be fair to kershaw, he is coming off one of the sickest three year stretches in mlb history.. at least since i've been alive. |

Tigers kicked some ass today. 13 runs on 20 hits.
It feels good beating the Twins this year. They were such a PITFA last season. |

Miguel Cabrera just hit #400.

Watch a Cubs game with a buddy today and they are looking not too shabby this year. 6 games in a row now for them and their infield is killing it. Addison made an amazing catch against the Pirates today and seems to be doing well for the team along with Bryant. Both seem to be really good additions. I don't pay much mind to the Cubs since my division is NL West but for my friends sake and sanity I wouldn't mind seeing them go post season this year.
ETA: Dodgers can suck a dick tonight. |
