Opinions of the revolver?

Do you think it was worth the money?

Pros and Cons?

I found a 95% one for $690, and think that is a lot of money.

Considering they retail for $775 or so, I'd jump on it.  A regular GP100 would be $6-650 anyhow.

The best Ruger doesn't hold a candle to to a Smithy.  I've been there, done that.  Rugers are OK but I wouldn't own one.  Smtihy's are much smoother and better designed revolvers.  Buy once, cry once.

That really doesn't help. I already own several Smiths.

How are they "better designed?"

So you haven't owned or shot a Match Champion?

I have one in stainless. It looks, feels and shoots Great!
Very Nice revolver. I own and shoot Smith's and Colts also. But the Ruger out shoots them all.

There's no doubt Smiths are more refined, but if you like shooting a lot of stout 357 loads the GP100 will be issue free for a lot more rounds.

New or used? How much did it cost? I noticed yours has adjustable sights? I thought they had a Novak rear sight?

They are different animals. I've shot both and own a Ruger. They each have their strengths and weaknesses.

Bought it brand new. It's a 2014 model; the newer models have adjustable rear sights. I paid exactly $799 for it.

I have one with adjustable sights.
It isn't any better or worse than any other revolver I have.
I have learned to hate the high vis front site.
I had to go to hogues because the woodies hit my hand wrong.
I cooked up a load using 200gr lead bullets and h110 in 38 cases.  It shows promise.

At the last gun show, just after I got done paying for a new 10/22, I wandered around the same vendor's table and saw a brand new Match Champion for $650.  I was so pissed that I just spent my money on the 10/22. :(

Hopefully next year that vendor has the same deal.

I don't really like the grip on it. Do like the grip on the WC GP100.
