Just picked up a BH barrel from a buddy of mine for my AR10 .308 and Was noticing the riffling seems a little shallow. Not as shallow as a Glock but shallow. I know BH uses a slightly different type in their barrels.....anyone use or own one that can give me info or Range Report?

Rifling is generally only .002-.003" deep

Black Hole uses 3 lands. No grooves.

This is what it looks like. The lack of grooves just gave it an odd look but having heard good things about them I thought I would give it a try. Will let everyone know how it works out.

I have and just got another and a friend has one as well. So far they shoot great. Of course they are both .556 but I like them so far.

That is correct. It is polygonal. No grooves. I have one on a 6.8 I built. Also bought a 308 barrel for another AR308 project from them.

I have a BH in 5.56 as well, great shooter.
