We panic like there is no tomorrow. We create stories without facts. Ban has not happened yet.
It's a ploy. Now stores are starting to hoard and will later put it out with higher prices. Price Gouging has began. Wake up everyone! Stop the panic. Instead, conserve ammo. Don't be fooled by hearsay and bite the ploy |

I sure as hell ain't responsible. I haven't bought factory .223/5.56 ammo in years.

Sorry, I bought 1,000 rounds of .223 the other day. It wont happen again.
|
|
If you're not a Panic buyer, then you're good! I'm just saying we will suffer, if we 223/556 ammo consumer keeps biting into this SCARE tactics that leads
to Ammo Out of Stock if not Available with Prices Doubled. There's plenty of Ammo but Vendors wants the consumer to buy it with a PRICE because of the BAN BS thing going on in the News if not Hearsay. We the consumers are smarter than that..... Basic Law of Supply and Demand! |

My purchase of Black Hills 50 grain tsx hasn't done shit to the price of 5.56 or .223.

Go back to your cave, OP!
It's not my fault that ammo prices are high; it is directly the ATF's fault because they've proposed a ban on arguably one of the top two most common practice rounds. Your logic is bad and you should feel bad. |
|
well if they cant sell it after the 16th they better not hold onto it too much longer lol!

Is it really "Panicking" when there's a legitimate reason?

I'm part of the problem.
I buy all I can when the prices are good and sell during these prices. |

I think so. If you say "I panicked when the semi truck smashed into the side of my car", I think you are still panicking. No? View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes Quoted:

If you say "I panicked when the semi truck smashed into the side of my car", I think you are still panicking. No? "Panic" has become synonymous with "Paranoid" in the context of ammo/gun bans. Mainly by gun owners who are condescending towards other gun owners who want to buy whatever it is that's slated for the the chopping-block. If there is a real, credible threat that it will be banned then it certainly doesn't make you paranoid when you run out to buy it (while you still can), even if you are slightly panicked. |
|
I have not bought anything, but every time I come on here I am seeing people buying thousands of rounds.
Why? because they are in a PANIC. |

I guess we are to blame for high gas prices and milk prices and .......
Forks make people fat too. |

Nobody here banned any ammo. Stop the victim blaming bullshit.
Most can see the logical conclusion to Obamas endgame. |

My local Walmart is stocked with the 120 round mini ammo boxes of 55gr...for $60! Tons of the 90 rounds on stripper boxes too...$48 bucks. Nope. Nope. Nope.
|
|
I bought ammo at a price I was willing to pay. When the price of ammo goes above that I don't buy it. I am not seeing the problem with that scenario.

Fug it buy It all. Ammo does no good sitting on store shelves.

I haven't noticed a shortage in ammo availability, nor any price increases..... and I have been buying it up in very large quantities lately. But, there must be some neckbearding going on somewhere, because I bought out all the .223 and 5.56 at my local Wamart this morning to use for target practice this coming weekend, and the ZQI boxes were all marked with "Walmart" written in marker. I have purchased a few hundred boxes of this stuff over the last couple of months, and this is the first time I have seen this. Clerk said it was to discourage buying/reselling by LGS. The other boxes I purchased this morning (federal 100 packs, perfecta 50 packs etc..) were not marked however. All 51 boxes of ZQI I bought were marked like this: http://i61.tinypic.com/s2wdv7.jpg View Quote that is a pretty good idea. it wont stop the gunbroker neckbeard but it will prevent the scummy gun store employees from scooping it up and putting it on their shelves. |

bullshit, i dont buy factory ammo in .223
dont try to blame me |

I didn't do anything. I don't have the $$ to do anything in good times or bad.

Why are threads like this usually started by "familiar" posters and people that don't feel like this site is worth giving $24 to?

Thank you, 15er.
There weren't enough threads about this already. |

If 55gr is OK with you I was in Cabela's today and they had plenty, had the 20 round boxes of Federal XM193 on sale for $6.49 (not exactly dirt cheap, but not unreasonable either), and had plenty of them. They also had Russian steel case 55 and 62 grain for a bit cheaper.
