This is my first time at home; did it at the doc's office once and worked fine.

I checked for air and I drew in a bit looking for blood to see if I was in a vein; no problem.

Thigh injection Testosterone.

Got a quick bleeder; stopped quickly as well.  This never happened at the office.

Worry?  Did I inject into a vein?  Does that mean the medication will not be effective?

I been doing self TRT injection for years, I feel that it may not always be a vein, and certain areas will bleed, If your typing this post and feel fine im sure your good to go. This has happened to me plenty of times. That test will work, the body will absorb it regardless of the bleeding.

What you're doing is injecting the substance IM or intra-muscular.  Same as getting a shot in your arm.  The substance is in there and it will be effective.  How much bleeding are we talking about?  Spurts, river, or a trickle?  A trickle is normal, a river can sometimes happen.  The spurts?  Well, you're on your own.

Probably hit a capillary or did a through and through on a vein (AKA infiltration). I wouldn't sweat it, either of those two and the meds porobably still went into the muscle anyway.

Prolly poked a vein.

Google "Z track injection" for a better stick every time.

It was a trickle; just startled me.  far less blood than medicine that went in.

Through and through a vein makes sense.  Bleeding stopped easily.

Thank you gentlemen!

Use a 1/2" long 25 g needle and it will cut down the pain and bleeding. Warm the test in the syringe, with needle and cap in place to facilitate pushing it through the small needle. Aspirate before you push to prevent dumping it all in a vein, if that happens you will know, probably will heat you up.
