I've honestly never cared enough about others' accessory choices to "despise" one.
I'd be unhappy about something that failed me, personally, when I expected/needed it not to do so... still not sure it would rise to the level of "despise." YMMV. |

Not a fan of the slide fire/ bump fire stock. I also can't stand lasers on rifles, I know IR lasers serve a purpose. The ones I can't stand are the cheesy ones stabbed on the side of cheap ass scopes!!

Personally, I hate it when people have accessories that conflict with the weapon's initial purpose.
A 16" AR flat top with a massive 20x power scope on it. A magazine extension on a subcompact gun that makes it the size of a compact gun but doesn't add any magazine capacity... and they could have just used a compact sized magazine and had the SAME size for the magazine extension and ultimately increased magazine capacity. Someone who brags about their ballistic drop reticle, yet doesn't understand that the reticle is designed for a weapons system, barrel, and specific ammunition and is completely useless for them on their rifle. I could go on and on. |

I don't know if they count as accessories, maybe more like features. But the lawyer mods on handguns such as magazine safeties, loaded chamber indicators and the hex key type locks that block the trigger or hammer. The Ruger MIII has all the above and I removed all the above.

I have never been a fan of AR telescoping stocks on shotguns, AKs or 10/22s.
