Anyone watching?

My wife is watching it in the other room. Like 90% of network programming, I'm not all that interested in it.
Pretty damn funny and it has that "zombieland" kinda of humor, a lot funny and a little sentimental/sad. I hope the rest of the season says this good.
I liked it.
Enjoyed seeing all the cool things he took around the country. Loved the astronaut suit. |
I swear the whole show is based on an Arfcommers wet dream, complete with margarita pools and stacks of porn mags.
Would have been nice to have a 50 mounted on the truck. |
Its a neat concept. I watched the "first" episode and started the second but got tired and went to bed. I will watch the second episode this evening. Time will tell if it holds my interest.

It started strong. I expected it to be a little better but maybe I just had my hopes a little too high from the previews.
I'll probably watch it again next week to see where they take it. |
I feel they shot their entire creative load with that one pilot.
I don't have high hopes for the rest of the season... Mid year is still the dumping ground for shows that didn't screen well on pilots (but enough to be green lit) when it comes to NETWORK tv. |

Think bigger my friend. I'd be the first person to drive around in a H1 Aventor LaFerarri with a gau8 bolted to the roof. This show is great. It is like an arfcommers wet dream. I personally was wondering what I would do with that time and all the resources in the world. |

Ok, I'm 2 minutes in.
Tuscon? ARIZONA? Why not go live in San Diego where the weather is perfect. |
Ok I figured how far could they go with this.
Im still asking that..... But I am laughing pretty hard. Lets see what the wife thinks.. |
White male lead. Is he portrayed as a bumbling half wit, or a racist homophobe? All of the above?
why didn't he just move to the house next door after he filled the first house with garbage?
I watched it. It was ok, I just don't see how they're going to keep it going this season, let alone multiple seasons.

Weak movie "The Last Man" (only upside was Jeri Ryan) - the TV show is not much better. Disappointing.
network tv will make the show less interesting, because there are some things it cannot do.
I find it interesting that both had guns at all. surprised that made the cut. and honestly, pushing a car into another car? I would have found a stash of LAW, or RPG's somewhere. should have shown him getting knocked out by pulling the airbag wrong. that too would have been funny. |

He was living the dream before that woman came along to ruin it.

had some funny moments. dont see how they could make it last for seasons tho. kinda like an odd couple scenario. Also when he walked up on the bra on the line and then passed out to awake to Alexandra Daddario i new she wasnt the last woman. Bra size was way too small. This is Alexandra Daddario btw of True Detective fame http://www.gotceleb.com/wp-content/uploads/celebrities/alexandra-daddario/66th-annual-primetime-emmy-awards-in-la/Alexandra-Daddario:-2014-Primetime-Emmy-Awards--05.jpg http://38.media.tumblr.com/9c61af25167ea28ba4672af094a393c6/tumblr_mm3a77aEzM1qe8quqo6_250.gif View Quote She was famous before True Detective. |

It does seem like it would be difficult to go an entire season with just those two. (The girl is the hilarious bunny eared one from Bob's Burgers BTW). But obviously they aren't bound by the "last man on Earth" format, since they have already introduced a woman.
It could go in a lot of directions. The "Governor" might show up and start a battle. Astronauts might land from space. Wait...that's all zombie movie stuff. Hell, I guess they may as well introduce zombies. So yea, it will be interesting to see how they make this stretch out, without holding back any fun plot points. I get the distinct feeling they are going for the "Adam and Eve" angle, so it may get Biblical. |
He mentioned a virus killed everyone......so where are all the bodies?
It is hard to see how they are going to continue this. Options are rather limited, drama wise.

I thought it was pretty funny. Agreed that it will be interesting to see where they can go from here. They blew through a lot of the possibilities in one episode. Good pick for the annoying woman character. Fish tank truck bowling was epic.

I LOLed when he casually shot the window out to look at the mannequin.

Endless supply of ammo. I would never get bored............................

I watched it because I'm from Tucson and tried to identify where they were. The house is set in the foothills of the Catalinas not far from the Pima Pistol Club. I'd live near there also.

I'm enjoying it so far. Funny concept. View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes Yes very funny. Strangely I would be ok with the situation if I were the last man on earth. Am I the only one saying go to the military bases and use up ALL the ammo??? |
