You need a muzzle brake on that thing so you can devastate everything in front of you and behind you at the same time.

How did your gun safe make your rifle so dirty? Did you do that on purpose?

My poor rifles get the shit used out of them.
Used how? To muck out stables?

Seriously though, a helpful hint: Firearms need tender, loving care. Especially ARs, which need to be clean to function properly. And with accessories like optics, you could scratch the glass or the tritium can break. Last thing you'd want to do is have to buy another scope.

Mine is a LaRue SBR with a 12.5 inch upper with 11 inch LaRue rail, battlecomp 2.0, SSA trigger, B5 stock, T1, Dbal green laser, surefire scout light, knights flip up rear sight, GGG flip ip front sight. I've had this 2011 and it's awesome.

My go-2 AR at the moment is a KISS M4 setup. Less to go wrong I guess.  I like things simple and never really have favored  the tactical cool AR15, as most of my range shooting is sub 200 yards.

A point most don't think about is that zombies are not thermally active. Ever think about it? If they ate and actually processed their food it would be coming out of their asses (yes, this is now a poop thread) but I've never seen a single zombie with shit running down their legs. They're not smart enough to drop their pants and get them up - hell they can't even turn a door knob - so they're not unbuckling their pants. I therefore suggest that the eat but no not digest the bodies they capture. They don't have a metabolic rate as zombie heads will continue to be animated for years after decapitation. No metabolic rate, no heat process, no thermal so night vision is best.

You're wrong. If it's moving with muscles or what's left of them, it's creating heat. It may not be 98.6 but it's not ice cold either.

Its funny how people think thermal only shows hot and cold, not temperature difference.

Correct. I'm maximizing the contact points of the weapon for stabilization while minimizing what the BG has to shoot at.

He's got 3" of the top of my head as a target, if you consider the trunk cover, which it really isn't, but it's training so....

IIRC, I was hitting 12" steel @ 100y in that pic.

How to hopefully not get shot in the face by sacrificing the rifle. For more info, google "Paul Howe and the use of cover".

Yep, that or the wheels are your best bet. We do a lot of various cover vs. concealment, but IIRC at that point Chase was calling position and pointing to a spot on the car, so we were diving in and out of the mud and changing to various positions. It was December and Raining. Fuck cold, fuck wet, fuck mud.

I've seen that pic a bunch and never even noticed that. To me it looks like a quarter turn, and although I've never heard of something like this, it looks like it can turn it into a single shot.

LOL so glad I'm not the only one who caught that!

But seriously, we should assume that zombies will have achieved "room temperature" and be difficult to spot on thermal.

I've seen that pic a bunch and never even noticed that. To me it looks like a quarter turn, and although I've never heard of something like this, it looks like it can turn it into a single shot.

For Zombies? Either my 14.5 inch or one of my 20 inch rifles, which can mount a bayonet.  With Zombies you always run out of ammo and I hate the idea of just poking them with a hot barrel.

Ever have concerns not being an A2 lower? not that I have seen a great deal of broken lowers, and those were either carbon-15 type, possibly cast? or otherwise shit tier.

It would be hard to leave a MG behind, but my gen 2 noveske sure feels beefy next to an A1

Oh I know bro. I take care of my babies, but....  I do like pushing my equipment during training, though. Lets me know where those lines are, without the treat of doing so while getting shot at.

All of that mud was honest work.

When you push it, do you push it hard? Real hard... I was just busting your chops. Nice setup and even nicer way of using it.
