I haven't watched an episode since the man love one. So has every episode had flashbacks to homoerotic man love? Since this is a movie channel show I am weary there may be some surprise "sword fighting" . That was the best part of the episode imho Truthfully all it was lacking was a fluffer cameo by Billy Boner.........and Long Dong Silvers. never go full retard |
|
That episode was fucking intense. Can't believe they killed Miranda BUT it had to happen for the story.
You guys who quit watching after that one little homo scene need to get a grip. You're missing the best series on TV. |
|
Wow my buddy who works on the set in South Africa just emailed me a spoiler for the next episode. I'll post it since I don't think it affects the plot in any real way.
When Vane and crew get to the Charleston jail they find that Flint has already created a harem of young shoplifters and marijuana dealers around him and refuses to leave his cell. He rapes one of the young men while he and Vane coldly stare at each other through the bars for the last 7 minutes of the episode. Then the screen goes black, credits roll. Sounds like another great episode imo. |

Probably to spare Flint that indignity or further betrayal, but i guess we'll never know thanks to Charlestown Waingro. She's always been a calculating woman in control of her emotions and the clock had been on her mind since she noticed it earlier that afternoon. Her outburst seemed like a last ditch sabotage effort. Amazing boobs. RIP. |

Quoted: that was a great episode. Vain is going to rescue Flint... can't wait for next week View Quote Gonna be lots of blood and guts, not like there has been any shortage tho. Nothing like a bunch of Buccaneers on a mission, with nothing to lose. If they dont succeed, they all hang anyway. Git 'er done!!!!! |

Quoted: After seeing the look on Flint's face before he turned around, which to me seemed like relief from long pain, I thought he was going to shoot her because she was putting the plan at risk by scaring Ashe away. View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes Quoted: Quoted: I think Flint was going to punch her if she didn't get shot. she was putting the plan at risk by scaring Ashe away. She reacted emotionally without rationale. I wager that same tirade and level of rage was coursing through Flint's being, he just didn't bloom into an emotional train wreck like she did. |

season finale is already on ondemand if you have comcast.
watching now.... |

I agree! Looks like any thoughts Flint had about becoming "domesticated" are long gone now.

Long John silver inches towards his destiny a little more each episode.
Calico Jack is also starting to not take shit from others as well. |

Pretty good. I really don't want to wait a whole year for season 3.
|
|
That was an impressive show last night.
Now if more were like that......With less of the Days of our Pirate Lives bullshit they’d have a great show. |
|
|
I guess I'll have to wait a long time for the answer but I'm curious how Silver is going to get out of the Urca mess considering that Max and likely Jack know him as the source of the gold info.
|
|
That was some well shot action in the scenes of flint and vane running around the streets

Fucking awesome.
It will be interesting on the island when they get back! |

That was some well shot action in the scenes of flint and vane running around the streets View Quote no shit. from moment vane stands up to signal his men till the Man O' War broadsides the fuck out of the dock, I think that just might have been the best action sequence I've ever seen on TV. I actually was sitting here shouting "YEAH GET SOME!" at my TV. those poor picket ships never had a chance. sandwiched between a Man O' War and the fort they were fucked. and Flint holy hell. the whole "fuck that town shell it" was epic. and I think Vane vs Flint is over. Vane rescued Flint's ass, and when given immediate ability to fuck Vane over released Vane's men. That look and nod they gave each other.....Respect. Flint's a bad ass Vane's a bad ass Flint and Vane? fuck. look the fuck out. |

View Quote yeah--the whole fight to get to the dock, vane kept looking at flint with a "holy shit!" expression. kinda like vane had always thought flint was overrated, and was just finding out what the guy was really made of. made me chuckle. |

Great finale. By far my favorite series. Worlds better than walking dead. Wonder what's in store for Ellanor?

This season finale was probably as good as any I've ever seen. Wow, outstanding work. Sucks to wait a whole year but as long as it maintains this level of production, I'll suck it up and deal with it.

"Ready the guns, full complement." Flint's bombardment intercut with Silver's actual amputation was pretty outstanding.
Stupid good finale, show keeps getting better. Take notes, Homeland. -eta, did they ever say how Vane ended up in Charlestown Bay? |

Just needs his parrot. And Savannah was mentioned, which is where... I guess I'll watch the spoilers. But ya, what a great show its turning out to be. |

Take notes, Homeland. -eta, did they ever say how Vane ended up in Charlestown Bay? View Quote Well said, I was saying the exact same thing. This is how you end a season and ensure that your audience comes back for the following season. Homeland failed miserably at their attempt. I just got "on the boat" around a month ago and this has quickly become one of my favorite series. |

Awesome final episode.
These are the pirates I alwats wished they would make a show or film about. Not some pansy show boys. Hard core throat cutters and cannonball chuckers. |
|
I'm going to go ahead & wager that Charles Vane will die saving Eleanor...... historically accurate or not.
This finale was so good that I'm re-watching it, something I seldom do. Max is one of the few characters who's mind/motives I'm not entirely sure about. Probably why I'm fascinated by her. That and the accent. |
