This is one picture that speaks volumes, too often people forget that one soldiers death is a sacrifice by many (soldiers death, the loss of a husband or wife, the loss of a parent and the loss of a child all rolled in to one)

This one hit me.
The action and emotion of the image is so urgent and genuine (of course!) They tried so hard, and the camera caught that effort perfectly .... 
and even though it is no comfort to his family, the follow up brings just as much emotion to me:
