Does anyone get shot a dozen times and then fall 1000's of feet down mountains and get back up and start fighting like in that crap Lone Survivor movie? With unscathed Taliban in sandals closing at a rate of unbelievable. Um, yeah they address that in the movie. The characters ask how they can be so fast. I guess when your in your 20's and you walk up and down mountains your whole life, you get in good shape or something |

Lone Survivor has been surrounded by a lot of controversy in the community for . . . inaccuracy. I wasn't there for any of it, I don't know. But I suspect that if there is anything wrong, it's mostly or fully due to the co writers. Not Marcus. |

would it be a good movie if you didnt know anything about the guy who the movie is modeled after??? I'd say 90% of my dislike is the break away from the book. The movie lacked depth, but it would likely entertain someone unfamiliar with the story. You're going to have to sacrifice depth when you're cramming multiple deployments into a two hour movie. It was a good movie.I found the ending to be very well done. It gave a sense of foreboding, leading to the text mentioning his death and the subsequent funeral procession. Was the movie a gung ho nonstop action warriorfest? No, but it wasn't meant to be. I liked it, but then again I liked the Human Centipede and Big Ass Spider, so YMMV. |

Just because you don't agree with someone doesn't make them a liberal, progressive bleeding heart. I thought the movie was good but you had to have read the book, instead of going in depth about parts of the book they skim over the entire thing. I would have spent more time going in depth about parts of the book in the movie,
The sniper training Click To View Spoiler He had trouble shooting once because he was using chew the majority of the time and did not during one of the range secessions and could not hit shit. When the Towers were hit, Click To View Spoiler he took of to his base and got pulled over by the Popo for speeding, he then got a police escort. |

I thought it was good, though I suspect a lot here will be dissapointed. It's a character drama, not a straight up action movie. Cooper did a great job and the girl playing his wife was solid. I think Clint assumes a lot of the audience has read the book and structures his story to skip a lot of the anecdotes and details.
