China and Russia are both trying to decrease dependence on the U.S. dollar in international trading. In October, the countries agreed on a $24 billion currency swap to strengthen the ruble and make trading easier between the two partners. |

I don't blame them. Our propensity to print more money and spend almost twice what we should is not good for anyone.

Considering how bad the ruble is, 24billion in currency isn't much.
This is China moving in to fill the friendship void left by the US. A Chinese power grab. |

zero and the demoncraps are so fucking happy about this. Why do you say this? Don't say "because they want the US to fail". Obama and the Dem's have systematically worked to reduce the world influence of the USA. With all his over reaching faults, Bush at least projected power. There was no rogue nation that had any doubt they were a target if they went too far. |

would be pretty funny if the country that counterfeits EVERYTHING ends up being the world currency.

Not at all surprising. The US has been pushing the two giants closer together.

havent the chinese been giving us shit loads of money? China just lends everyone money..

Cool. Maybe we can help wean the Chinese off of food? China may be daring us to do something. I think we'd flinch first. They've got us by the nads. Thanks for the info. Here I thought we had them by the nads, since they can't support their population without our food. Glad to learn I was wrong on that and they are actually supporting us with their food. |

Here the hard cold truth, almost every government print their own money without any backing. It is not governments who decides which currency is going to be the world reserve. It the trader/merchants that have the power. China is all BS because their own currency is peg to the US. |

If a 10% tariff was imposed against Chinese imports to the USA, China's economy would be devastated in less than 3mos. Include, Canada and the EU imposing the same, and China's economy would collapse... China's biggest problem is 1/2 the marriage age male population not having domestic females to mate. |

Prior to Putin's land grab attempts we were on decent terms with Russia. Now we won't even look at one another. China sees a partner in which we have zero influence. A partner that would have no qualms with rebuilding a nuclear arsenal and starting another cold war. |

How is everything the US does a mistake, while everything China and Russia do is ingeniously outsmarting the world?
Russian Currency is and always will be trash. Chinese currency is garbage unless they take steps to make it useful. Pegging it to the dollar isn't one of those steps. |
