I have heard that is was the owner of the chain of theaters slated to play the movie that refused to do so, on account of possible liability, If true, Sony as a corporation had little to say about it. In such a case, they had the rug pulled out from under them, and at the last second. No doubt the NORKS threat to reveal some additional sensitive internal Sony e-mails influenced Sony to STFU. The truth will out, and I have nothing for or against Sony at this point. |

Hold on----Devil's Advocate time: What if it wasn't NK? What if Russia or China was behind it, but created cyber evidence that implicates NK? Russia would love for us to go off on NK---it would give them cover to take the rest of Ukraine, or whatever else Putin has his sights on (Baltic States?). . . . China has had a beef with Tawian and Japan for decades. . . they would love to make Japan pay for it's atrocities committed during WW2. . . .
