These two scenes from my favorite movie, There Will Be Blood (see avatar):
I'll burry you in the ground Eli..... I'm Finished.... |

Too many great fights come to mind to list, but some recent ones that stood out to me were from The Raid:Redemption and the Raid 2. How can you not like this fight? Mad dog doing what he does best, he lives for the fight and delivers a brutal beatdown. http://youtu.be/Axt-Yo9tAcs No Exactly. Nobody fights with the sounds of watermelons crunching and that much grunting in real life. Not to mention the obvious choreography. |

James Gandolfini beating the holy shit out of Patricia Arquette in True Romance.

That wasn't a beatdown. That was a one punch event.. A beatdown involves multiple punches/strikes. View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes Quoted:

Seriously? Way of the gun chicka beat down in the very beginning. That wasn't a beatdown. That was a one punch event.. A beatdown involves multiple punches/strikes. If you watch, I am pretty sure he follows through on her with several punches before the crowd gets on him. |

An honorable mention would be freebies beating of whitey in freebie and the bean.

Cola to the face
http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=hPoxee46S4s One of the first nasty movie beatdowns I remember. |

I have always liked the scene from the 1st Expendables where Jason Stratham beat those guys asses on the basketball court
ETA - beat by ManMan on page 1 Good Choice! |

Undisputed 2 and 3, some really nice fights there. And already mentioned, Raid 1 and 2

Way of the Gun.
Deadwood Al vs the Sheriff in the muddy street. |

The movie is B, but the fighting of Michael Jai White is enjoyable. He is a true martial arts guy and beats ass throughout the movie convincingly. This scene lacks with the whole perspective shot. but its still fun. http://youtu.be/Zb6ZoTZXhKU http://youtu.be/Zb6ZoTZXhKU View Quote Holy shit! I thought that guy at the beginning looked familar. |

Different kinda beat down. |

That is some of the best gratuitous violence I have ever seen! |

The most sickening has got to be in Irreversible where a guy in a gay bar gets his head repeatedly caved in by a fire extinguisher.
IIRC it's shot in one long take and looks far too real for me. |

Dont have a link for it, but the beginning of Rambo III, where Troutman finds Rambo doing the stick fight for the monks.
That was awesome. Several good scenes in Lionheart, with Van Damme. |

Anyone recall the opening fight scene in Brotherhood of the Wolf? I know, major link fail.

View Quote While this was an epic fight it was just that a fight. If you want a beat down from Deadwood then you have to watch Bullock vs Alma's father. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=66Q3xS8ZVws P.S. - Kudo's to Steelycr for the Freebie and the Bean reference. A classic movie that almost no one knows about today. |

Enter the Dragon.
From the moment Bruce Lee drops the Cobra into the control room, until he and Saxon whoop everyones asse. They beat up what seemed like 100's of henchmen. |

A Man Apart
The scene were Vin Diesel's character beats the man who killed his wife to death. |
