I had one of those a year or so back. Couldn't stop laughing.

Lol. At least they know where its at. I've had USPS packages be delivered and still show at the origin.
|
|
hey everyone goes off the rails on the crazy train a few times
|
|
UPS accidentally teleported one of my packages across the country a few weeks back. At least they know where your stuff is
|
|
Probably just an excuse to not deliver your package by Christmas Eve...
Yeah...sure..."train derailment" |
|
Back when I worked for SP, a package we were expecting was delayed by a derailment on one of our lines.
I got the derailment report that morning and the package delay notice that night. |

Happened to me a couple years ago. Surprisingly, the package was only delayed 2-3 business days.

I have some dash parts for a convertible I'm doing stuck in Detroit for 6 days now.
I'd have the damn thing done by now if wasn't stuck in that shithole purgatory for the past week. |

Its my first Countycomm order. Stocking stuffers for son in laws.

doesn't say your package's train was the one derailed... so there's that hope.

I just want to see an exception along the lines of "package delayed by long haul trucker on meth binge." It'd be worth the package being late
|
|
I'd like to know how my DPMS GII and lowers coming from Texas to Oregon are delayed by the same derailment that is affecting someone in Iowa...

I had an M1 from the CMP do a tour of the country - really - until I finally got it. It seemed to like Memphis, as it would go there and then go somewhere else and go back to Memphis.
I think I have Elvis's M1, 10 K and it is yours, - I'll provide shipping records, It was horrible to see my M1 traveling the country. |

I saw a Ryder cab and what I think was a Fedex trailer hang an axle and derail a train a month ago in Clarks Hill SC Double whammy

Sorry to break it to you, but that's probably a lie this time, or they're trying to use the UP Mojave sub derailment as an excuse for every late package.
Derailments do happen all the time, but right now during UPS peak season with the railroad, they'll spend like $10k to truck something across the country to try to make it in time. |

Looks like the real train wreck is you still using XP View Quote I bought this computer in 2007 and have it beefed up as much as I can. I have very few problems with it. Every computer at work they have purchased in the last 5 years with all the new operating systems, have been total crash machines. Every one of them! i'll stick to XP for what I do, it works. |

A couple of years ago my package's delivery status was changed to delayed due to train wreck. The package was full of ammo. I thought I would never see it again because it was ammo. But, it arrived two days later. UPS came through on that one!

At least they are honest. Even FedEx has their problems, scattered packages/gifts all over the highway.

I ordered some custom sneakers from Nike one time and it said that a typhoon had delayed shipments coming out of Vietnam.

Happened to me once. Took another couple days for the package. Didn't make the news so I assume most people survived.

A likely excuse... In other words, your pizza will take longer then 30 minutes, but your still going to have to pay the full amount....

I was at a gun shop earlier today and the owner was commenting that she was waiting on some guns that were derailed somewhere and that this was the 2nd time this year.

My FIL works for the RR, he gets called to one or two a week, usually low speed in the yards, assholes running switches. It just takes some time to get everything back on the tracks and moving again. |
