I knew I bought one to soon, I'd much rather not have the safety, but I dont think it bothers me enough to sell this one and buy the Pro.

Ruger is, by a large margin, America's largest handgun manufacturer and for good reason.

I like Rugers. I haven't seen anything that has interested me in a long time.
This peaks my interest. |

They have made a 9-round extended mag for this. I have one. I also have the very old first model DA LC9. Wish I had the Pro.

Isn't it the LC9 that has the heavy DAO trigger? If so, pass.

Oh come on, the American rifles are good, the American predators look good, they tried to fix the Mini up some, they have that odd plastic 38 that is supposed to have good trigger, they have a bunch of small concealable automatics, the Kel-Tec knock offs are probably okay, except for the retarded chicklet safety. They are selling all the Scouts they can make, while others basically failed with scouts. I think ruger deserves a thumb's up. View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes Quoted:

I love my LC9.
I put a clip-draw on it and carry it all the time. It literally disappears. Without a holster I kinda like the extra reassurance of the safety. I've shot it enough that I'm not too worried about forgetting to take it off in a stressful situation. I also disabled the mag disconnect. |

As much as I hate glocks...I gotta admit that Ruger can still blow even glock out of the water on trigger sux...

No loaded safety flags, internal locks, thumb or mag safeties. All good moves by Ruger
I need to see one in person, but this is the first new Ruger pistol I'm actually interested in. |

When are they gonna make a New York legal one that only holds the requisite 2.3 rounds?

the triggers on the striker fire version are a huge improvement over the hammer fire.

With the Glock 26 being so tiny, can someone remind me why there is such a need for a single stack? I recently sold my Shield and bought a Glock 27, Gen 4. It's not difficult to conceal. At all. Different strokes and all, but the argument that a single stack is soooo much easier to conceal just strikes me as nonsense. I didn't see a single advantage. I did see a huge disadvantage--capacity.

I let my dad borrow it several years ago as the trigger pull and I were not getting along... I own a Kahr now, but always open to good quality small guns. |
