Guys, check you credit card statements! Part of my shipment arrived today, but still not the upper. I checked my statement and they charged me $463 when the total at time or order was $298!
... they get an angry phone call tomorrow obviously. |

I got my first order everything good. 2 BCG and a 2 CH handle. Perfect well done.
2nd order I cancelled. (I thought) 1 upper 1 CH handle they placed a $329.99 temporary authorization on a 197.99 upper 
Now I just got charged for the CH handle they shipped off the 2nd order and charged 9.00 shipping 
This is why I cancelled this order a week after I placed it.. now they are messing up So I still have an upper with a charge 100. over what it cost and paid separate shipping on the order and still will pay shipping on the upper in a month or 2 if it ships.

Sounds like they are screwing up royally on their orders. Too bad; it's OK to be backordered after getting swamped, but there's no reason to screw up the billing.
[ETA] I just saved the order as a PDF file so I can dispute it with the CC company in case there's a problem. |

I was hoping that they would be another PSA value option. Maybe the reported billing errors are growing pains.
Has anyone who was overcharged CALLED and talked to them about it? I understand not wanting to wait for hours on hold. Put the phone speakerphone on and surf this site for more deals. |

Just an update to my earlier posts. I checked my bank statement this morning and the charge from Diamondback dropped off. I'm assuming they charged it over to the correct credit card I gave them but I won't be able to be certain until I get the statement. It does seem the company is trying their best to fix any mistakes they've made and provide us with the products at the correct price. I'm pleased so far but I still haven't received either of the two uppers I ordered. I'm patiently waiting though.

Order recieved today. Upon first look over it appears to be very good. M4 feed ramps cut right, bolt carrier and charging handle look good. Barrel appear to be good. Seats up to lower tight with no slop. I am really pleased so far. |

I'm 218x and today it went from B/O to processing. (9" 5.56 "2" in stock ones). with the wrong price.
 I will wait it out so they don't slide there sacks over any more than they have to.
ETA. Showed 2 in stock forever but were not. |

Fedex just came, got my 5.56 9" railed upper, best damn $208shipped I ever spent! I wish I would have ordered another! All you guys waiting and thinking about cancelling, I wouldnt if I were you, no way you would get another brand new complete upper like this again for $200! I like it! Seems well put together! I mounted it to one of my Black Rain Ordanace complete lowers from CDNN great little AR for well under $450!

Without warning, my 556 upper with the 13 inch rail showed up yesterday by FedEx. The barrel does not bear the DB marking, nor does the dust cover. Overall looks like a pretty nice bill. If I had to guess, I would say that the rail was probably designed and manufactured by Yankee Hill machine. Not sure on who manufactured the barrel, but it is not chrome lined. The bolt carrier group and bolt look well machined, but mine are unmarked. The gas key is chrome lined and properly staked. It was bone dry, but seems to function. I'll probably throw it on a cheap Andrrson lower and, after function testing it, use it as a truck gun. I'm still waiting on my 9" railed upper, but really, you can't beat these for the price. I'm pretty impressed the Diamondback honored the deal, actually.

I just checked online, on the order tracking page mine still say Processing but on the Invoice it now has 1 under Shipped instead of B/O. Hopefully mine is on it's way. I checked my Credit Card but no charges yet (hopefully I won't be over charged).

I really want to get my dad going on his first AR and it's got to the point he's now back to shopping for uppers because he doesn't think this one is coming in any time soon.

I didn't think they would honor the sales as they oversold. but, I am surprised they are making good on the orders. they could have said screw it. but they didn't and will be glad to get mine when it arrives. might be warm out by then. |

Limited range report.
Tossed the Db upper on a stag lower but went off and forgot any mags at the house so had to buy a ten round pmag from the LGS down by our farm. (Was planning on doing some hunting as well hence the 10 rounder). I was having all sorts of trouble getting the mag to release from my Stag lower, literally having to take the gun apart to smack the mag from the top to get it to fall out. They shit got old quick but the upper ran great. Not sure why my Stag lower hates pmags but it runs fine with aluminum mags. |
