I am fortunate to have been born in 1960 and have watched just about every one of these shows!
Saturday nights were best, station would sign off, Dad would let us stay up all night.
Had no antenna rotator, so oldest brother would go out on roof with channel lock pliers, I at door, other brother at foot of stairs, Dad at the set,  and he would turn antenna and we would relay info back and forth till signal was clear, hell with cable.

This TV series was a Major Hit.
A few years after the series went off the air Susan Dey took off her clothes for the movie First Love.

I saw Dick Cavett interviewed the other day on O'Reilly. . . I loved his show as a teen-ager. . . and along the same lines, here in the NYC metro area there was another talk/interview show, "The David Susskind Show". . . these were real TALK shows where people, not just celebrities, had actual long, meaningful discussions about issues or ideas. . . Not just plugging some book or movie . .

I'm sure Dick Cavett is a huge liberal, but on his show he asked intelligent questions and had very interesting discussions. . . Not at all like what passes for "talk" shows today. . . Mind numbing, intelligence-reducing, silly drivel---horrible. . .

These have been mentioned, but I liked them a lot:

Night Gallery
Kolchak the Night Stalker
Outer Limits
Twilight Zone

One that hasn't been mentioned yet- Alfred Hitchcock Presents.

I was born in '58 and saw a lot of the good shows as reruns.

I probably watched 95% of the stuff that's already been posted as a kid in the 60's and 70's

I was always a big fan of anthology Horror shows too and watched every episode of Boris Karloff's

"Thriller" series and the old "One Step Beyond" shows.  Thanks for the memories OP!
