I wouldn't be surprised if some of y'all were still blaming James Dean for the misbehavior of today's youth.

Pockets on t-shirts are about as fashionable as really pale blue jeans and I'd bet money OP wears both simultaneously.

I never understood why anyone would want a pocket on a t-shirt. Weirdness.

I have been buying a lot of the Dickies T shirts because they have tall sizes and I am 6'4
They have pockets and so far they have been holding up just fine.

Always with a pocket. I often keep my iPhone in that pocket.

Pierced nipples make putting anything in a chest pocket a no-go. Anything that most people stuff in a shirt pocket, I put in my leg pocket in my Dickies work pants.

it's getting hard to find t-shirts that aren't paper thin........

If it's a plain shirt (no graphics or lettering), I prefer a pocket.
Pockets are useful, even if they're on a shitty t-shirt. |

I'm not fat, smelly, drive a beat to shit 30 year old chevy, over 50 and need somewhere to stash a pack of smokes. So no, no tshirt pocket.

For everyday wear I prefer without. For more formal affairs such as my daughter's wedding or funeral's of close relatives I wear one with a pocket and usually a graphic such as a wolf howling at the moon. It's only right to dress up for formal events.
Yes, also will comment on the thin fabric of today's T shirts. My nipple rings and the chain that connects them are plainly visable through these new types of T shirts. |

I've never understood pockets on TShirts, I've always written it off to an old man thing. I'm always amazed when a see someone that actually uses them...shirt collar hanging off their neck and one sided droopy booby . View Quote Lol. Perhaps throwback to the days many men smoked. They are either undershirts for a button up shirt, or printed T's. Unnecessary. |

The corners of the pocket are usually the first thing to start tearing. |

I always wear a shirt with a pocket, tshirt or button up. Best place available to keep a pen, seeing as my pants pockets are full.
Right now I have a small notebook, ballpoint pen and a sharpie in my shirt pocket. This is one of my favorites: http://www.dawsonprecision.com/ProductDetail.jsp?LISTID=80001743-1388518375 |
