OP, if you visit the PCC sub-forum under the ARMORY tab, there are at least 2 mfr's making lowers specifically for Glock mags.
Lone Wolf Dist., and whatever the successor to Double Diamond Law Enforcement Supply is, iirc. ETA: beat, but also check out Just Right Carbines if you don't want to/can't build it yourself: http://www.justrightcarbines.com |

Is there a .45 lower that takes grease gun mags? Now that would be awesome.

View Quote http://www.cncguns.com/projects/AR45lower.html http://bazookabrothers.com/pages/home/1 I've been wanting to make one for years. KurtsKustom (RIP) made my custom upper in the early 2000's to use .45ACP Uzi magazines, which could fit in the standard AR magwell. It was a one-off. |

Block wouldn't make an AR pattern rifle.
They'd reinvent it because they know better. |

FWIW, several years ago at a Glock armorers class I took, a (Glock-employed) instructor said that he had seen the prototype for the Glock carbine and it was a .223/5.56. No other info gleaned.

Ah, the infamous "prototype..." If it were real, in the Internet age, it would have leaked by now. I wouldn't bet on that, necessarily. Keeping one's job can be a serious motivator. But yeah, it has taken on an urban legend status. |
