Republicans and outside groups used anonymous Twitter accounts to share internal polling data ahead of the midterm elections, CNN has learned, a practice that raises questions about whether they violated campaign finance laws that prohibit coordination.

Internal documents show that GOP campaign staffers used devices known as "phones" to communicate across vast distances, a possibly unfair practice.

Evidence also points to the use of computers to collect and analyze data at an accelerated rate.

Twitter users blasted back, infuriated that GOP campaigners were using the same tactics and tools as them. Some users wondered why the GOP was allowed any more than a slide rule, pencil and paper, and a book of stamps.

So if they hud a thug at a poling place, or had dead people voting several times, ballot machines that don't count votes for dems it'd be no problem though...right?

I'd say using Twitter is a damn sight less intrusive  and criminal than weaponizing the IRS.

Fucking liberal spin.

I can only HOPE that Rs will pull some on of the levers that were installed in the system since 2008.

As apposed to coordinated and obvious ballot tampering.  Suck it.

You can be an illegal immigrant with no birth certificate + a fake social security number that married outside his species, & still occupy the WH for 8 years.
You can provide material support for terrorists in the middle east & provide illegal guns to drug cartels that murder border patrol agents without being charged with conspiracy, murder, or accessory to murder.
You can bus illegals around the country to vote multiple times in each election & you can keep recounting votes until you get the result you want (to include "finding" more ballots in trunks of cars, etc).
You can "deem things passed" when you don't have the votes to pass them & you can break the rules to change the rules to ram through lifetime appointments.
You can appoint racists & terrorists to your inner circle & have them paid by the taxpayer.
You can tell the world that something is not a tax, then go before SCOTUS & swear under oath that it really is a tax without being prosecuted for perjury.
You can pay someone millions of dollars to come up with "independent" opinions to be cited as gospel to the masses of low information voters.
You can pay billions of dollars to your political donors to come up with energy projects that will never work.
You can ignore congress, ignore the courts, rewrite or ignore laws, & flat out lie to everyone about everything but still not have consequences.

I think the Republican twitter accounts really are a non-issue in the grand scheme of things.
