how do you convince your wife to let you build a rifle when she says we have no room but the tiny apartment is filled with all her sewing stuff and there is room if we make it
I don't have to ask my wife permission to build or buy things.
Slowly buy the parts you need to build said rifle and before you know it you will have another rifle. Wife won't know the difference at all.
How small of an apartment do you have that it can't fit a rifle?
Also, why can't you follow simple rules? |
Offer her a worse alternative. Tell her you will start rebuilding a motorcycle in the apartment instead.
She has her sewing room, I do not go in it.
I have my reloading, gun room, she seldom goes in there. |
I've posted photos before and it's a tiny studio apartment. I am just wanting to build a recce or a DMR. She has been on me awhile so I don't know really. I feel pathetic asking other gun owners what to do even

Bait her with her own nature. Just add smoking deal and that was a steal to what you bought.
Then say I might get this done for one third the price I would have paid for the whole thing. Those phrases sooth them. Just as long as they don't really know what the rifle would cost. |
forego the rifle
save money buy/rent bigger place build rifle |
I just don't get it. It only takes a small space at a table or desk to assemble and you can store it behind a door, under a bed or in the corner of a closet.
OP is a liar. If his wife is into sewing he cannot afford a rifle. Or a bigger place to live.
My wife is into quilting. |

Have her sew a gun case or scabbard that can be hung off the back of the couch. I bet you could get two or three guns between the couch and the wall.

Lol
When mine asks if its a new gun I remind her that I don't ask her about her new sewing stuff Also I am a man and don't need my wife's permission... I do inform her sometimes if I am using the CC so the purchase isn't a shock when she looks at the account. When I go to shows she ask me what kind of gun I will be looking for |
First ask her for the jar where she keeps your balls and then you can go get a rifle without all the humiliating drama.
"It is easier to ask for forgiveness, rather than permission."
I don't get it? (Standing in my gun room I built in the garage)
We don't really have the room in our house for all of my shit, but, damnit, we make room.
ETA: My wife is in WoA. Plenty of pics there. |

I think it's that time or it's a full moon but either way, I am probably just going to buy the upper and assemble a lower. Our counselor says we ened to get into our hobbies more and I have never put together a lower so it's time for a project

This is too easy. Design a few gun bags. Concealed carry purses, and other accessories. Have your wife sew them up. Make some cash. Get out of the tiny mouse house.
And buy or build as many new firearms as you like. Get to it man, you have a free assembly line. That you can have more fun with then. Gomez and Rodriguez at the sweatshop. |
