There is some truth to some in what Charles is saying.
Years ago, when I was still young and single and living in the barracks as an airman at an overseas base, I had a black friend who was also taking night college classes and he was somewhat gifted in mathematics. I think he eventually ended up years later with a Ph.D. in statistical analysis and probability theory. Anyway, the other black guys in the barracks spent every evening in the base gym playing basketball. I heard them, more than once, giving my friend shit for taking college classes at night instead of hanging out in the gym. I suspect this bothered him but he kept in all in perspective. I guess my friend was acting "too much like a white person" for the other black guys to accept his taking college classes instead of playing basketball. True story. |

More discussion of this sort needs to be aired on Sunday morning talk shows by prominent and successful blacks until it starts becoming standard fare.
This cycle of slow thinkers,criminals,and irresponsible baby making machines living off the fat of the tax paying responsible people of the nation really has to stop. |

I had a good friend and coworker tell me the same thing. He was working, going to community college, and staying out of trouble. He caught a lot of hell about it from his "peers" in the community. He was above it though.

The sad thing is that there really are a lot of blacks out there that are brainwashed to believe that the people that they believe care about them only act like it line their pockets and stay relevant. I ran across this show late on night while channel surfing, it was a panel of young black, men and women, and they were tearing each other up over that issue. There was genuine anger and hate flowing back and forth. A couple of things mentioned were who gets rich over keeping blacks stupid and ignorant - of course Jesse and Al topped the list but so did a variety of rappers and it rounded out with the democrat party. |
