With this ATF deal coming down at the beginning of the year I was looking at maybe 1 more SBR and honestly A vector Uzi is looking mighty good.

So yay or nay?

Nay...why would anyone need a full auto weapon?

Vector Uzi is a fun range toy.  One I really regret letting go.  SBR one would be awesome.

I have one. It's fun to shoot, but heavy, unergronomic, and uncomfortable to carry.

I have a FA Full size and if it was a semi I would just toss in the garbage can with my Krinkov

Green Mountain makes Uzi barrels for Vector semi-autos.  You can get threaded 10" or unthreaded.

Green Mountain short barrels for semi Vector Uzi

ETA:  Definitely go for it, OP.  You will have no regrets.

Get some 25 round Uzi surplus mags from SGAmmo.

Go for it, if that's your thing. Regarding trusts, are you talking about 41P? If so.. I wouldn't worry about that at all.

Yeah, IIRC, people were saying not to worry about that anymore.  Doesn't hurt to get the Form 1 done though through a trust.

I have one, you need an "SBR barrel" because your carbine has a rear ring that the SMGs do not have, so a new barrel must have a smaller diameter at the chamber to go into that ring.
I absolutely love my SBR Uzi. It is my favorite centerfire SBR, and it is second only to my 10/22 SBR for favorite gun.

I bought the barrel from a seller on UziTalk years ago.

I vote yes. Still waiting on my Form 4 for a Fleming Uzi I bought recently, but already searching for a semi auto uzi to SBR. Also have one Vector mini uzi waiting at the LGS and waiting on another one from Vector. Kind of a his and hers deal as the second mini uzi is for the fiance.

I saw the distances you shoot it at. You don't need a stock.....

Assuming you have/get an uzi with a semi auto feed ramp (complete ring) yes. It's not common, but there are some semi auto uzi's with full auto feed ramps. If you get a Vector or an IMI and they haven't been modified that is the barrel you want.

Lots of info on uzitalk, if you haven't been there yet.

I have one and enjoy shooting it although you have to be careful with your cheekweld and that wire stock.  I also picked up a Mossad II suppressor for it and it is pretty quiet with 147 grain ammo.

Personally speaking I think semi only in that gun is kinda stupid.
But then again I own one with a fun switch.

If the rear of your carbine barrel has that reduced diameter at the chamber, yes. If it is the same diameter from the barrel flange all the way back, you need an SMG barrel, but that would not be normal for a semiauto carbine.
